http://tinypic.com/r/2dub8sp/7
My subject bar for Private messages as you can see is located at the top right of the page. anyway to fix this? --------------- Added [DATE]1317907608[/DATE] at [TIME]1317907608[/TIME] --------------- Bump? ;s |
Bump . help please ? ;s
|
What do you mean 'fix' it? Where do you want it to show? usually it is at the very top right, so you probably used some CSS to move it down a bit, so just undo the CSS.
This is one of those things that is impossible to troubleshoot via an image. You would need to tell us exactly what you want (an image showing what you want) and give us a link to your site, and probably a test username/password to login to see the issue. |
Lynne, as you can see under 'Title' there is no place to put a title. because the bar on top (top right) is the title bar .

Create a new style with no parent:
|
No i do not. I have other skins but this is the only skin experiencing this
|
Then it must be a design issue with that particular style. You will need to contact whoever made that style for a fix.

I just tested this with another skin
Same problem @boofoo, i didn't look closely, it's actually with the default skin as well. |
Please post a pic of the default skin so we can see it.

There you go good sir. |
To troubleshoot this, first reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Also be sure to upload the admincp files to whichever directory you have set in your config.php file. Then run 'Suspect File Versions' in Diagnostics to make sure you have all the original files for your version and that none show 'File does not contain expected contents':
Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions [Note: In some cases you may also need to remove any of the listed .xml files in the includes/xml directory.] Next, disable all products (except vB Blog, vB CMS and Skimlinks if you have them.) Admin CP -> Plugins & Products -> Manage Products -> Disable Then manually uncheck all plugins that are not for 'vBulletin Blog' and vBulletin CMS' here: Admin CP -> Plugins & Products -> Plugin Manager You must do BOTH of those steps in order to disable all non vBulletin Modifications. Do you have the same problem? |
Yes i'm still experiencing the issue
|
Then I would suggest submitting a support ticket via the members area on vbulletin.com
