PokerMaps design
It is finally finished
home poker games with a google map feature please give honest opinions PokerMaps.com thanks in advance:) |
I like it overall! There are some niggling issues, though . . . at least looking at it in FF.
Again, these are all small issues, but getting all those little things just so will really give the theme a more polished and professional feel. Best of luck with the site! |
Wow, that's a REAL review. GREAT STUFF.
Yea I guess you kind of get to a point where your looking a big items and you some how miss the little things. Thanks so much for the feedback |
Theme Tempest said it all :)
Run a pokerbased site myself, I like yours better :) |
thanks for the props! It has been a year and a half just on the development of the product, but now I think we have a real viable project.
thanks for the support! |
Find a way to get the users location via IP without having the popup. I would suggest geoip.
|
it uses geoip, however that is not allways correct.

Simple couple of hours theme design with enough dark/light and a spruce of orange
The statusicons dont suit it. When I join I got my account deleted because I didnt meet membership requirements .. very poor! |

That was rude wheretobet. I'd bet real money your antispam software misread his IP. Sometimes banning an entire country leads to undesired results. I suggest you re-evaluate your antispam methods.

Great design. As a poker fan, I think the idea is awesome. I hope your site does well.
I'm thinking about creating a similar map site for amateur sports leagues throughout California. Would you be so kind as to direct me to where you obtained the google map template and explain how you embedded it on the homepage? Much appreciated. |
Looks like someone who knows their job designed it. Really nice. I'd comment on the category bars (you have some problems, since the orange #top button comes too close to the left side (let's say I can't see the entire text there). Something with your css?
Other than that .. really good job |
Funny how he just wanted to feedback, but he wasn't willing to share the customization info. lol
