[USML] Advanced Link Posting Options
1 Attachment(s)
The [USML] Advanced Link Posting Options Version 1.1.0 allows you to prevent users from posting any kind of links in their signatures and/or in the forums (e.g. "www.vbulletin.com" AND "vbulletin.com") until they have reached a certain post count or a certain amount of reputation. This is basically a combination of a couple of modifications that have already been released, but I've added some new features.

Will this disable the links a user has already posted? I have a user who has copied content from hundreds of post over from an old site, in doing this the user has also copied over hundreds of useless links. The links don't appear like this "www.example.com" so disabling "Automatically parse links in text" does not solve the problem. I would prefer not to have to go in and manually remove the url bbcode for hundreds of links. So i'm wondering if i can put this user in a new user group and restrict the user to a number of post higher than they have currently posted in order to avoid this.
* The user account is used to post content (not a normal user) so moving to a new user group is not a problem. |
Could anybody give me a quick yes or no? Not sure if this will work.

I may also recode this later in the future (not sure when) so you can set restrictions per usergroup like I've started to do with a couple of my other modifications. |
Thanks
