What is it?

This plugin creates an easily-configurable Facebook Like Box for your forum and/or CMS install. There is no HTML to edit. Turn-key installation; there aren't even any files to upload -- just import 1 Xml.

There Is No Premium Version

This mod doesn't have a premium version, but it can still get attention. If people in this topic take the premium version of Spam Hammer, this plugin also gets faster updates and responses than our other 20 plugins.

Premium clients can vote once every 6 months for high priority to be given to plugins without a premium version, so this plugin can garner faster answers to your questions and engineering of your ideas.

I had the same issue and I do NOT have VBCredits installed. I'd like to see this get worked out so I can use this widget.

Starting at the time of this post, the facebook like box mod no longer requires PHP 5.3. Simply remove the old extended libraries xml (0.3) and import the new one (currently 0.4).

Support for this mod is now provided on vB.org again.

Get this error after installing when using the Options:

Did you follow the instructions in UPGRADE.txt first?

No, I'm not upgrading, this is a first time install. Should I have done? :confused:

I get this errore when i enter into admincp options of this product

Also impossible to remove the product or save settings in Admin CP. Looks like it's broken?

I uninstalled v1.1 and the extension libraries and then installed the extension databases and v1.2... now I have the same issue these guys have reported so I'm left with no other option than disable the product for now. :(

All fixed in 1.3! Uninstall the old version first (even if it was 1.2).

P.S. don't forget to nominate a mod, even one, once a month. :)

But now I updated it and after refreshing the home page, I get the following message several times:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method FacebookLikeBox::getCode() in /is/htdocs/wp10584736_RU569EW3DZ/www/packages/vbcms/widget/execphp.php(194) : eval()'d code on line 1

You must uninstall the old version and install the new one; this error is occurring because you performed an overwrite instead. In the future, check UPGRADE.txt for references to your version. :)

That's because the extended databases product was uninstalled first (and you got a notice saying that it might break the like box if you continued). To resolve the issue, import the `product-extended_databases` Xml and uninstall the `Facebook Like Box` product first, then uninstall `Extended Database Libraries`. :)

One question: how can I center the widget in the sidebar? Seems it's set to align left per default.

It should automatically expand to the size of the sidebar and not need centering. If you turn off ESB, is this still a problem?

This is awesome. How do I make it show up only on my CMS and not on the forum sidebar?

I installed this, but for some reason it's not showing in my forum block.. it works well on the CMS

ACP > Forum Blocks Manager > Facebook Like Box [Edit] > Active (No) > Save

It's possible that the forum sidebar is disabled.

forum sidebar is enabled, block is active, and display order set.

Also on the main CMS page, when the widget was installed, it creates a large blank space to the right side of the box, which creates a horizontal scroll bar on the page.

Sorry I forgot to take a screen shot of it, but I uninstalled the mod because it just didn't fit in with our style well. Just wanted to give you my comments. running version 4.1.10.

A code change was introduced to vBulletin after 4.1.8 that broke the installation of this add-on; it has been resolved. If the installation still worked, it means you did not upload one or more of the new version's files.

I?ve just downloaded and installed this one on a 4.1.8 version. Also I read that support is only givin on your forums - unfortunal I can?t register there. Lancerforhire.com leads to vbresults.com and this site seems to be only for display purposes, not for interacting.

My problem is:
the installation went though without any errors. On the CMS your mod works, but on the forums sidebar it doesn?t. I?ve checked the sidebar block and noticed that is configuered to use the block_html template, to display plain text and what I guess shouldn?t be: there is absolutly no code in the code section ;)

Would you be so nice to help me out with that?
