My new vbulletin powered Website

I was a moderator on a Mopar car related website for 7 months when the website founder decided to sell it. He upgraded it to vbulletin 4.1.3 and cleaned it up some then offered it to me. Since I did alot to contribute to it in the 7 months as a moderater I decided to buy it but was saving up for another car to buy at the same time. I am on the payment plan right now so it will be 100% mine on the 15th of this month. I have the admin control panel figured out and I want a couple of the mods. Mainly the one to send all active members a broadcast PM. I am going to have the owner add my e-mail to his account so I can start.

Thanks for having me,

Eric

My car is like this except white with silver/tomatoe red decals...

You make me feel like getting out the smoker and smoking a bunch of meats. All of those are items I do when I have a Smoking Day.

This is a great place...I thought I would share my second favorite thing to do...here's one more..I call it death by chicken...I flatten out a chicken breast....put a skinless peice of sausage in there and wrap it up with bacon...here ya go...

Flatten a chicken breast....season with pepper and Tony Chachere's......

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/08/42.jpg

Add one link of Blue Ribbon sausage...I took the casing off and then sliced it into quarters..

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/08/43.jpg

Roll it up and add two pieces of Blue Ribbon bacon and secure with toothpicks...

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/08/44.jpg

Grill semi-direct heat with a little bit of mesquite chips....

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/08/45.jpg

Add some corn...an onion...a baked potatoe and sweet potatoe...

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/08/46.jpg

Man oh man was it good...

That's why it has it's name of "Death by Chicken"

TheLastSuperman 08-11-2011 07:01 PM

I've never seen someone grill corn w/o shucking it, that's a first for me and if you hate doing it then simply throw the corn in the microwave for about 1-2 mins beforehand, then shuck (careful it's usually hot if not very warm) and the silk will seem to fall off, then rinse and grill it up. You never know when a worm or something got into it kwim? Who wants to eat grilled little buggers anyways? :p

Now, when are you going to have them add that email so you show up as licensed?

08-11-2011 08:21 PM

Lol! Where is the Website link?

EDIT: Just saw the images, not the text :P

I soak that corn in salt water for an hour then place it on the grill...if some of it starts to carmelize then thats better than a microwave any day..

I thought grilling corn with the shuck on was the only way to cook it!

Nice work, i'll have to get some pics of my BBQ'ing adventures up here sometime!

Whenever we grill corn, we always shuck it, baste it with butter, wrap it in foil, then throw it on the grill. Never tried grilling it with the shuck on....

Same here except I throw on some of the "Cavendar's All Purpose Greek Seasoning" it's in the little yellow cylinder style container w/ a twist top and red border on the package if you have it at your local store in the spice/seasoning section and wait for it... Google ftw - http://www.greekseasoning.com/

Okay which is more freindly....the puzzle or answering this question "What was the most common engine used in the Dodge Aspen & Plymouth Volare?" For a new member that finally got one of these cars what is the chance he will know the answer when regeristing? That's what was in place before..I got plenty of PM's from members that were so mad they said they weren't going to post anymore. And if you become a member you are a puzzle master until you have 50 posts...then human verification cuts off.

If it works for you, great... I'd rather have the extra members and deal with the occasional spammer.

Besides my website...working on cars and such I have become an under 50 yearold grandfather 2 1/2 months ago...got a snap shot of her last night..she is smart as a whip also...

Here you go Joe...got this from a friendly e-mail today and thought I would share.

I get some things via-email that I have to share.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The DeWalt Nail Gun

A must have in every home in America !

For everyone who would rather not have a gun in the house!

In view of the recent Supreme Court ruling, sales of this new product may skyrocket.

Washington thinks they are going to take away our guns, so check this out. I like it!

NAIL GUNS! AND, you don't even have to REGISTER them or have LICENSES for them!

AND, you don't have to worry about them being CONCEALED!

Just a LOT of good stuff to do with THIS!

Once in awhile something so totally cool comes out that even a guy who doesn't normally even know what he'd like for Father's Day or Christmas would immediately ask for it:

Thank you, DeWalt!!!

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/09/44.jpg

New Nail Gun, made by DeWALT

It can drive a 16-D nail through a 2x4 at 200 yards.

This makes construction a breeze, you can sit in your lawn chair and build a fence.

Just get your wife to hold the fence boards in place while you sit back,

And relax and when she has the board in the right place, just fire away.

With the hundred round magazine, you can build the fence with a minimum of reloading. After a day of fence building with the new DeWalt Rapid fire nail gun, the wife will not ask you to build or fix anything else, probably, ever again.

My wife, daughters and grand daughter got some lunch today and then went to a nearby Christmas tree farm. Cut down a nine footer and hauled it home in my Dodge Truck. Been a long time coming.
