Great mod... but your premium program is too expensive for me...
This light version is useless for me.

His VIP is worth the money though, it's 59 for all his plugins, themes and premium content. You also get way more for your money. I use forum slider and green seo themes ultimate, now this. Your crazy to say it's expensive!!

2 different products to compare I'd say. Dragon Byte lite version is better than this lite version that I can say, as per the pro and ultimate versions, can't say but it looks like this one may take it.

Nice modification but the lite version is too limited and pro version is too expensive regardless of the total value of the subscription...

Looks nice, but as the lite version only uses registered and admin usergroups, it's not worth testing for me as I don't use the registered usergroup for my members. Hopefully it continues to develop and add more notifications and options. Always good to see competition between products. =)

Does this integrate with the current default notifications menu or does it add a separate menu beside it?

Also, could it be possible to add a notification for moderators to check the Mod CP when there are new items to moderate?

Love the idea, but caused a noticeable lag.

Feature request: Separate notification icon for moderator notifications.
Maybe use a big M for an icon.

The issue I see with this is it might be "too much." Moderation notifications aren't as critical to building a community as notifications for users using your community.


What URL structure are you using. What mods are you using. Theres a lot of variables into why it might not work for you.

Update seemed to help with the lag issue but now I'm not seeing any notifications.

I see a number, but when you click it it just shows the scrolling bar (loading) and nothing ever shows up.

(I do use vbseo as well)

I've got the product in the header but nothing shows - no number, no nothing.

For moderators it is very helpful to see how many tasks they have in their queue. Currently its all mingled in with a plethora of other notifications. Especially on active boards. My staff often has 50-120 notifications. Separating Moderator notifications will speed up moderation and that is important for building a community.

Updated the .xml. However the usergroups are locked for now. In a future lite version they will be unlocked.

Updated - this version currently has the usergroups on 2 & 6, a future lite version will have configuration of all usergroups.
