vBNotifications: What is it?
vBNotifications is an innovative and unique modification that completely overhauls the default vBulletin notification system. Uses vBNotifications is perfect for any forum, both small and big alike. Can you make a mod that just has notifications settings separate?
NVM. All modders and coders, please consider making a mod just for notification settings. |
Does that 1% = vbseo likes?
|
Why in member area show vBNotifications-BETA, not gold version?
|
i guess because this is a lite version, not a gold version, if you want the gold version, you have to pay -if i don't mistake- ;)

The fixes have been applied to the members area, the zip file just needs to be renamed.
Please remember, try and post questions about pro version in the proper forum on DBT. Also the zip name has now been fixed. |

why have the notification at the bottom of the page? how many sites fit exactly on your screen without having to scroll down? Can the position be changed?

My apologies whoever you are.

In my opinion, this is such a major modification that it's a crying shame that it doesn't come standard in vbulletin. I have posters that migrated over to my site from a XenForo forum and the only features they miss is the flexibility of their notification settings and the fact that it's instant. Other than that, they really can't tell the difference between vbulletin and xenforo once you add other modifications like Popup Private Messaging and hopefully one day, Live Topic for vb4.

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=258738 ^^^This mod is awesome man. I find it redundant to have a bookmark for both threads and posts when you can just bookmark the first post so I turned thread bookmarking off. This mod is really convenient. It reminds me of the 'Tag Modification' feature on vb.org. |
Excellent mod, but, my notifications appear transparent. How can I turn the color to black, like your example?

I get this error with 4.1.4PL1 with vbseo:
Fatal error: Call to a member function query_read() on a non-object in /forums/dbtech/notifications/core/class_cache.php on line 29 |

Hey,
I have just updated the addon to version 1.0.2. This version fixes a number of bugs and introduces vBSEO compatibility! Change Log: - Fixed a bug that would cause settings to disappear under certain conditions. - Fixed a bug that would cause notifications within member profiles to not reset if vBSEO was active. - Fixed a bug that would cause notifications to only display on page reload. - Fixed a bug that caused new notifications to only show on page refresh. - Phrasing has been added to the settings page. - Added a new setting that must be turned on when vBSEO is installed. |
I can't see anything, is there something i must enable/disable from vbulletin part?
Using VB 4.1.3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On a test forum with the same version i get this error Fatal error: Call to a member function query_read() on a non-object in /home/public_html/test/dbtech/notifications/core/class_cache.php on line 29 no mods installed, only this one. |
Updated to 1.0.3:
- The legacy mode setting should now work correctly. - Fixed an issue that would cause a PHP error under certain conditions. - Fixed a bug that would cause an SQL error under certain conditions after installation. - Fixed a bug that would cause the formatting of the popup box to be incorrect if it had more than one notification to report. |

Still can't see any notifications, does this mod work in 4.1.3 or it's just for 4.1.4 ?

Updated to 1.0.4:
Change Log: - Fixed an issue that under certain conditions would cause an undefined notification to show up in the legacy display. - Fixed an issue that caused the copyright to display incorrectly. - Fixed an issue that would cause the CSS to fail to load on the CMS if the store css as files option wasn't turned on. - Altered the settings page to show notifications that can be disabled rather than enabled. This should allow for automatic enabling of new notification types for all users globally. - Fixed an issue that caused the legacy system total notification count to display incorrectly when permanent notifications are active. |

Initially I was very interested in this plugin, but its "lite" edition does not have enough functionality for me to install it, and I wont pay for something I have not been able to test.
