What is it? ---------------------------- This mod adds a "Search in Plugins" option to the "Plugins & Products" menu in the ACP. (Most likely of interest only to plugin developers). This is a similar idea to the "Search in Templates", but this mod will allow you to search the code of all plugins that you have installed for a given string. Installation: ---------------------------- 1) Upload the files in the upload directory to the appropriate locations. 2) In the Product Manager in AdminCP, import the product XML file (product-kh99plgsrch.xml). 3) Refresh page to see "Search in Plugins" option. Uninstalling: ---------------------------- 1) Uninstall the product from the Product Manager in the AdminCP. 2) Remove the uploaded files. Notes: ---------------------------- 1) Currently does not search across multiple lines. 2) Has only been tested on vB versions 4.1.3 and 4.1.4. History: ---------------------------- 1.0.0 (June 29, 2011) - Initial Release |

This mod always help me out, Been using it for 3 years!!
|
seems to work fine in 4.2.3 - can't believe vBulletin doesn't already have this critical tool!
|
Very nice thank you, works great in 4.2.0
|
<i>Very nice, working good so far in 4.2.5 B1
Thanks!</i> |
I guess I am kind of slow, but I just found this and really like it. I was going to suggest it have a search for plugins using a specified hook but then I realized that the download plugin function provides that list already.
Between these two it is pretty straightforward to find where interference may be occurring between two plugins. |
Useful.
