A functionality request:

Please consider to add functionality to categorize attachments by file type:
- images (jpg, jpeg, png, gif, etc)
- videos (flv, mpeg, etc)
- audio (mp3, etc)
- documents (pdf, doc, docx, ppt, excel, etc)

I get a blank page when I try to access the page below, any suggestions?

Update: Nothing but a blank white page on 4.1.3? :confused:

No AdminCP options for this mod anywhere, or the ability to add a link to Navbar etc.?

Simplicity in itself, utilizing an already integral part of vbulletin, can you imagine if it had a scrolling slideshow of sorts :o

I'm not sure why you are getting blank page.

If you view page source, is it still completely blank?

Are you sure that you uploaded attachmentgallery.php to your forum directory (where showthread.php, forumdisplay.php, etc. are).

Feature request:

Categorize attachments by forum topic. If an attachment is in a forum about Aquariums, then the attachment is accessible under a 'Aquariums' category.

I'll add this into the next version.

I wish I had something like this for album pictures as Abe's mod was still not ported to vB4.

I installed 1.1 and now it seems to be functioning ... very nice work ... :up:

Have a bit of a cosmetic problem .... seems like top bar is all white on our site.... (see pic)

The text Image "Attachment Gallery" and beside it in the center "Most Recent First" is hardly visible....

Is there a way of setting this to be our default text (black) on our default background?

VB 4.1.2
It toss up the no permission error box. I own the place. I am the #1 user/admin. Why in the world would I get > you don't have permission blah blah. The only controls for this is how many on a page and where to park the link to it.

Q: guests can download the attachment in the gallery?

Installed, 5 *ed and nominated for MOTM.

Going back to my original request for this, I'd still love to have the ability to tag attachments with key word(s) and be able to search on them.

And, using the mod as it is in anger, when in the 'all' view, it would be good if the username, date posted and maybe a link to the thread containing the attachment were included.

I will donate to you but will hold off for a wee while to see how far you get with this which will determine my 'generosity'!

It return to all categories, again when we pass to next page in another category.

It should follow attachment permissions within each forum.

I can confirm this bug on 4.1.3. It loses it's place and returns to ALL categories after the first page when selecting type or user.

I've never had any problems making any of your other mods work but this one has got me stumped. I can make you a full power admin if you want and let you have a look if you so desire. Just PM me here or at the forum and I'll get you set up.

Upgrade to v1.2 and if you view page source, what is the first line. It'll help me find out why you are getting the no permission error.

I have the php file in the same root directory as the forum is in. Along with all the rest of the vb php files. Is that the right location for that?

I also had to do album_picturelist (same phrase) and it seems better now...

Drop down boxes under pics are a little understated and hard to see in our style, plus have a small "_underscore" character in front of the drop down box for some reason, but it's functional.

I also had to add font color statements around phrases "Sort by" and "Search by" in order to get them to appear black as opposed to a dull grey which was hard to read.
