Twitter!
This Plugin No Longer Works
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...1&d=1371419988 --- Overview As many now know, Twitter took down their Widget Builder forcing people to use the more complex system now built into accounts. This plugin lets you instantly integrate a timeline, faves, list, or search widget on the forum or CMS with no HTML editing. Turn-key installation; there aren't even any files to upload -- just import 1 Xml. Nominate for MOTM If you feel the time and effort we've put into this mod made a difference on your forum, please "Nominate for MOTM" on the right hand side of the page; thank you. :) |
Updated name. :)
|
Great work - Thank you.

Could this be used as a forum block??
|
Yes. :) I'll add instructions on how to do this tomorrow or Saturday.
|
Thank you Lancer Superb
|
wow very cool mod, thanks friend!
|
You're welcome!
Oh, and 1.1 is out!! :) |
Nice one Thank you will get this installed tonight when i get back!!!!
|
*EDIT*
Just installed this, but the forum block all references "blogs" and selecting blog userIDs, etc. Also, the forum block doesn't appear on the page for me. I have other forum blocks there now and they are ok. I switched to the vB Default style just to check and it's not there either. Not sure what's up. =) |

It mentions blogs and whatnot all over it. Not sure if that is correct or what. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/06/48.png When I refresh my forum with the below block enabled, I get the following errors: Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in [path]/includes/block/blogentries.php on line 129 Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in [path]/includes/block/blogentries.php on line 131 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in [path]/includes/block/blogentries.php on line 139 Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in [path]/includes/block/blogentries.php on line 129 Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in [path]/includes/block/blogentries.php on line 131 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in [path]/includes/block/blogentries.php on line 139 |

vBulletin Version?
|
4.1.3 sorry.
|
Am I right in assuming you don't have vBulletin CMS installed?
|
lol, yes. gamerumors.net/forums is the site. I'm trying to create the side block like my facebook one, just for twitter.

|
vb 4.1.4 forum only.
installed 1.3, enabled in options, set to autowidth and twitter username still not showing. |
do i need to add a side block with custom html ?
|
I'll install 4.1.4 and get back to you on whether or not I can reproduce the issue.
|
I was able to install it on 4.1.4 with no issues.
Am I right in assuming you are talking about the CMS widget? |
dont have CMS.
forum + sidebar - not showing up "New Forum Posts" sidebar working ok |
Dwayne, i had the same issue. I ended up going to twitter and using their code to use in the sidebar html. I just made my own and it worked perfect. PM me if you want a step by step.
|
Works fine for me.

Don't mean to put down your mod, but i uninstalled it and just used twitter's embeded code and modified the CSS.
http://twitter.com/about/resources/w...widget_profile Figuring out how to do the same with Facebooks stuff, another story. Have pm'd clutchthese on what he did |
I know. What I asked was what issues you were having with the mod before you tried the alternative?
|
vB 4.1.4
Had installed previous version and had no problem. Downloaded updated xml file. FOLLOWED DIRECTIONS and UNINSTALLED previous version of this mod, then INSTALLED 1.3 version. Edited the appropriate settings in admincp>settings>options then vbcms>clear cache Then went to readd to my layout... this widget is NOT showing up as an option to add to my layout. Then went to vbcms>widgets and it's not showing up there either. Where is it? |
It also isn't showing up as an option to add in Forums>Sidebar blocks manager (and YES it is enabled)
and yes in Products it is showing as installed and active and yes in PlugIn manager all the plugin's for it are active/enabled |
Sending you a PM.

php v5.2.11
Twitter version of this is running fine in both sidebar block and in a widget in CMS prefer lancer's as it was a bit 'cleaner' without redundancy of double profile name in the 'widget shell'. =S |
