[USML] Navbar Networks

1 Attachment(s)
The [USML] Navbar Networks Version 2.0.0 allows you to add Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, YouTube, Skype, RSS and/or Google+ networking links to your navbar or header. This is mainly for the default navbar and header. If you install this on a custom navbar or header, you may need to tweak the stylevars for your custom style to get it working correctly.

Version 2.0.0 has been almost completely rewritten! So, be sure to make a backup of your changes, if you made any, as you will probably need to re-do those changes.

Nice to see you all put out another one. When will you have the site up?

At this point, just waiting on certain bugs to be squashed in vBulletin (which should be done in vb 4.1.4 hopefully) so I can put a style I've been working with to use on it. Then again, I may just open it up with the default style.

RobbieZ 04-30-2011 06:55 AM

basilrath 04-30-2011 07:37 AM

You need to go into the plugin and edit the margins. For example:
HTML Code:

margin:-2px 4px 6px 10px

AttalaEA 04-30-2011 05:08 PM

I tried already but when i adjust the margin of facebook all icons return back to the original place!

AttalaEA 04-30-2011 05:22 PM

http://www.fotoika.com/out.php/i7_Icons.png

You can see here in the picture that i just changed the icons and then the default alignment is not same even when i try to adjust once i change the facebook marjin all icons return back again to the original place.

A guidance from you will be appreciated

Thanks

HMBeaty 04-30-2011 05:23 PM

You might have to adjust each one, not just one of them

ranafarooq 04-30-2011 05:25 PM

installed worked smoothly no problems!

AttalaEA 04-30-2011 05:27 PM

I already did but can you explain what each margin indicates
margin:-2px 4px 6px 10px
2px indicated what
4px indicates what and so on so i can understand what i am modifying

margin:TopMargin RightMargin BottomMargin LeftMargin

px = pixels

And the 2px in the margin settings you quoted is actually -2px.

HMBeaty 04-30-2011 05:38 PM

For CSS, margins are always the same.

The 1st number: top margin
The 2nd number: right margin
The 3rd number: bottom margin
The 4th number: left margin

There will be an update shortly with new images and the code changed around a little. All of the new images are the same height/width so it will make it easier to customize the margins if needed. Screenshot attached with the new images....

Quite a sexy way of adding them! nice.

Mr_Running 04-30-2011 09:45 PM

Really sexy :) I am a shy guy ;) It would be awesome to have the option for only logged in users to see these...I prefer to have them join my site then join the other networks. :)

yes I agree.

Installed, working fine, although I feel the icons could have been more polished... but so be it they can always be designed by hand.. still works. thanks. MOTM nominated.. simple & effective.

CharlieDelta 05-04-2011 02:10 PM

Agreed the images can be replaced.

Question..
Is this supposed to work on CMS pages.?
It's not working on my CMS pages, & im wondering if i missed something or it wasn't meant to work.

Otherwise, NICE mod.!!
*Marked & Nom'd* :D

Curious, under IE9, my icons are placed on the next line in the navbar. Using FF4, they're perfect. Any suggestions?

I can't duplicate this and I'm using IE9 as well. Perhaps tick the "browse in compatibility mode" in the browser bar? Although that doesn't affect mine at all as it shows up the same way it does in IE9 as it does for FF4 for me.
