Info :
I get ideas from this topic : https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...hreadid=262079 but my code will make you pleasure than.
Simply, it will split your editor form into two parts, the editor and add the options.

I just tested on vBulletin 4.1.2, 4.1.3, I think it can work on 4.1.x.
Additionally, I don't test on fixed style, so, if have bug, I can't support ! Sorry ! It work on fluid style !

Screentshot :
Look at attachment, please !

Install :
1. Go to StyleVars -> form_maxWidth, set : % and 100.
2. Go to Edit Templates :
- New Posting Templates -> newthread (newthread.txt).
- New Posting Templates -> newreply (newreply.txt).
- editpost (editpost.txt).

Download Edit_Templates.zip, unzip to see code, I can't write in this post because it too long characters !

P.S : Very simply, you've got a new style for your editor form!

Please "Mark As Install" if you like it !

This looks good but the Post Your Message and Additional Options boxes don't stay centered, at least in New Thread, which is the template modification I tried.

combs 04-16-2011 07:52 PM

Installed, very nice. Working perfect for me.

Gemma 04-16-2011 10:08 PM

This depends on you!
I did that so that it can complete the editor form, I do not want to see what this is but the other did not!

Looks nice .. tagged ... :)

Has anyone tried this in 4.04 vBulletin versions and does it work there as well?

Thanks ..

Excellent MOD. Marked installed, Nominated.
Quick question: Is there a way to remove the text "Additional Options part for automatically parse links and disable smilies" by setting them as Automatic in Global for everyone. Trying to remove as much text as possible.
Appreciate the help

Sorry man !
This is my fault, I didn't remind you about that, I just do it only on fluid style !

peugeot405 04-18-2011 05:07 AM

seems to work fine on my fixed style :).
Very nice job.

Is it possible to do the same for blog?

Do it with CSS, I must have free time to do it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

mindhunter77 05-08-2011 05:55 PM

what css file would handle this? I am looking to do this as well.

I do not use css, I only use html code.
HTML Code:

<table>
        <tr>
                <td>
                </td>
        </tr>
</table>

Hi bro,

Thanks for the mod, but after i input the coding you provided, my editor text column etc went missing. Could you kindly tell me which template to edit? I only have 2 mod style, d other have the editor column but not d other one.

Please kindly help me, thanks!

Front Range 4x4 04-23-2012 12:07 AM

Thanks, I like it and installed but do you have any idea why you can't show more smilies? It's a shame not to use that space.

Never mind, uninstalled, doesn't fit iPad screen.

Fields 02-14-2015 04:56 PM

Does this work with vB 4.2.2?

Toorak Times 02-17-2015 03:27 AM

I just installed on my skin and works with 4.2.3beta3 very well.
