Help me please: View Post?
 
Hello,

I'm using vb 3.8.x

How to make: only register user and moderator user can view post?
I want guest user can't view post but guest can read thread.

Please help me....

Guests are Unregistered users. So click to Edit the Unregistered Usergroup and set Can View Thread Content to No.

I don't understand what you mean that they can't read the post but can read the thread. What is the point of reading a thread if you can't view any of the posts? Viewing the thread would show you nothing. So, I'm confused by what you want.

If you want them to not see the posts, then you set Can View Thread Content to No. You have already been told this.

It's not that easy - I don't know of any option that would do that. You could probably make a plugin using showthread hook locations, but there are other ways to look at posts if you know or guess the post number (like showpost.php). There are probably also some other ways that I wouldn't even be able to think of.
