Jquery Thumbnail Magnifier
**This mod is a complement of Thread Thumbnails: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=237404** Thread Thumbnails can be seen on many forums, but the size and viewing quality of the image could make it hard to know what it is. This mod is a compilation of Jquery scripts that i found here and there (thanks to the originals authors) and minor modifications in the original scripts of "Thread Thumbnails" by Null Parameter. The purposes of this Mod is to add a magnifying cursor that on mouseover will give the member, opportunity to click and Magnify the Thumbnail in question. Installation: FTP files from folder to forum root. In FORUMDISPLAY, add scripts in the <HEAD> section on top of this: PHP Code:

shrimpca, you need to upload the files inside the folder to their respective clientscript folder in your forum by FTP!
So, jquery.magnifier.js in the => clientscript and jquery-1.4.4.min.js in => clientscript ->jquery also, the magnifier.cur as to be in main root Hope it helps ;) |
sorry nothing had happened with vb4.1.3

!!! Did you made all the changes to the scripts?
My test site is on 4.1.5 l1 and it works fine . double check that magnifier and JS are in right place. |
The magnified version is all stretched horizontally, or you could say it doesn't change size vertically, but does horizontally.
|
I will double check everything later, you can see here:

this is a setting in the option pan for the thumbnails, look for this:
Thumbnail Style and set it like so Code:
width:40px;height:50px;padding:2px; obviously the query wil explode it to match the size. You can also adjust the resize from with in the javascript for that reason too |
Thank you very much, I had a "Max-height" in my thumbnail parameter and it was causing the problem.
