Postbit Tabs: What is it?
DragonByte Technologies are proud to present Postbit Tabs v1: A mini mod that uses JavaScript to organise the postbit in a tab-like fashion.


Why Postbit Tabs?

Postbit Tabs is a product that uses JavaScript to organise the postbit in a tab-like fashion, offering admins the opportunity to slim down their postbits and give it a more Web 2.0 look.

It's a powerful tool for any admin who feels their postbit has become cluttered by various modifications' additions, and who wish to regain control over how their postbit looks.

Our advanced View Manager allows admins to directly copy/paste HTML code as it's found in vBulletin templates - no special syntax is required.

What does 'Marking As Installed' do ?

* It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications will be notified by us whenever new updates are available.

* For security issues - vbulletin.org will contact all members who have installed a modification whenever a security issue is brought to their attention.

* Marking a modification as installed also helps us know how many people are using our work, giving us extra incentive to provide more features and new modifications.

What to delete from postbit_legacy / postbit to avoid multiple times display of stats ?

I cant figure it out ...

Yes. I was talking about all DBTech stats in postbit thanks / awards / mentioned / activity bars etc. since i am having all PRO of it installed.

I have found that:
1. update of all DBTech plugins is required - to have the proper integration features;

2. uncheck the automatic popstbit display in all plugins integrated to avoid doubling of display.

In some DBTech Plugins

'Check' 'YES' in Manual Postbit Deployment
In other DBtech Plugins;

3. It's nice to play with postbit code of the plugins to achieve required effects :)
Mine looks right now as attached files shown;

3a. [REQUEST/BUG ] From there (3) I require to have thanks/likes to be shown as mentioned/tagged in the postbit code - to be able to separate it like the mentioned/tagged postbit code (see attachement 2).
The Mentioned/Tagged can be splitted (separated) while Thanks/Like statistics can be put as a group only.

Is it possible to have Thanks, Likes, Dislakes separated in the code?

I am trying to delete a view,its sez its deleted and after refresh its back.Is there a directory i need to make writtable?

You may have a problem with your datastore cache, please try removing any cacher configuration from config.php and flush any cache system like vB Optimise you may be running.

Can you also please advise how many extra queries this modifications adds to page load? And if I add "Automatic integration with [DBTech] Advanced User Tagging", does it add queries? Thank You.

No, only the Hivelocity link (which you can remove in the Lite version via the vBulletin Options for this mod.

This mod adds no queries.

Also, query count is really not something you should be worried about any more. You should worry more about the efficiency of each query. I could go on a small rant about 100 queries that take 0.00001 sec vs 1 query that takes 2.4 secs, but you'd probably tell me to go away about halfway through :p

It's been about 5 years since query count was something to worry about, as back then the servers were not fast enough to return the result of even 1 efficient query in a timely manner (and also do everything else you wanted a web server to do).
