Wrap text around image in CMS
Is there a way to wrap text around images for CMS articles? I think this would produce much more professional looking content and clear up some empty space.
Thanks :D |
Click to edit the image (hover over image, click edit pencil) and align it left or right and the text will flow around it.

I am hovering, but I see no pencil... maybe I'm dumb?
|
I don't have a pencil either. I can click on the image which produces a box that I can resize, but no pencil. I'm running 4.1.1
|
I can't even get a box to resize.

You need to be editing the article and be in WYSIWYG mode in order to get the edit pencil to show.

Whoops... thought I was in WYSIWYG mode since I had all the editing tools. This is not it? Where do I got to get into it?

Nope, you are not in WYSIWYG mode. It doesn't look like it is available either (you would have this little A/A box in the upper right corner next to the up/down arrows). If you are using Safari or Chrome (perhaps Opera too?), then you cannot use WYSIWYG mode.

Strange because I am in WYSIWYG mode and I still don't have a pencil. :(
I'm just able to resize it. Any ideas on what would cause that? |

Okay, I've managed to get the pencil to show up by using an attachment. I select "left" and the preview image shows the test wrapping around it, however when I hit submit, the text is only on one line preceding the image.
EDIT: Never mind, I got it working. Thanks for your help! :) |
Hello, mind telling me how you do it?
I can't even make the pencil to show. I'm in WYSIWYG, using Firefox. I double clicked the image and an image setting interface appear, but it disappear straight away after that. I can't edit anything. |
If it's disappearing right away, then you have something wrong with your style or files.
Create a new style with no parent:

The only different thing that I did in nowadays installation was that I typed: $config['Database']['dbtype'] -> I wrote 'mysqli' instead of the default 'mysql' Not sure if I misunderstand the vb manual, thus I said it here. |
Use something like firebug (in firefox) and see if it is having problems reading the javascript files. Some hosts have set up mod_security too strict and are therefore blocking the javascript files from being read.

If you have ticket support, I would recommend opening a ticket.
