Nice! I was looking for something with transparency for a style I needed to rebuild, as it was lost in the 3.x>4.x upgrade.

You must use this style with vB 4.1.1+ . It will not work on previous versions.

I think reverting stylevars: doc_margin & body_padding will get what you are looking for. I will ask my partner how he applied everything to make sure though.

The style was probably listed before the "4.1.1" version option was available.

I would appreciate if there would be a 4.1.0 Version of this style because i haven't had the nerve to update to 4.1.1, especially since the update-marathon of vB4 seems not to end anytime soon. Don't want to risk my board or make all that every few weeks. Thats a little excessive.

Got the same issue btw. but since my board ain't 4.1.1 but 4.1.0 that might be why. I had to completely deinstall the skin to get rid of that error. Even had it when I chose a different theme in the theme chooser. Almost thought this skin would have messed up more.

So if there was a 4.1.0 Version of this theme, I would love to try that.
Please let me know.

Sorry that I did not see your post buddy and the author has not been online here this week. As far as I know he does not have a 4.1.0 version. So no way to go backwards so to speak as it gives the error above like others get.

Also for future reference you can visit our site and make a post as I get emails instantly about new threads/posts ect..

Skin looks great but has lots of viewing issues due to the transparent background

Please do a search in this thread or over at our forum about the User Profile problems.

Getting very tiresome repeating the issue about user profiles in vbulletin with custom styles. That is why I am done with doing anything with styles for vB. This design was made by my partner.

Please explain what you mean by "few more" as that leaves me with nothing to work from to find a fix.

Sorry I came across wrong, I'm not saying I'm not thankful, I am. Skin looks great as I said I just noticed the stated problems in user profiles and related areas.

No harm, and sorry if I sounded short. It is just a shame the dev team the size of vB cannot get this fixed for people. Makes us (style designers) look bad especially when all we can say is "its not our fault/problem". There are fixes out there but you have to turn off User Profile customization and then re-work the css for the style.

Yes to back Steve up once again.... The profile issue is a vBulletin issue and is not something we can really address for end users, soon as vBulletin decide to fix this AGE OLD PROBLEM we will provide a fix / update for our releases.

I need to know the exact size (width and height) of the background image of this skin so I can give it a more personalized background. I also need to know the exact size (width and height) of the header so I can make a complete custom header. I have the skin installed already but cand find the sizes I mentioned. Any help would be appreciated.

2 things that i've detected not working properly:

1. When you open a member profile, the background is not perceptible and you can't read the links on left;
2. On the forumhome, when you click on a member to open a small menu (that leads to the profile for example, since its transparent we can't read well the options).

Can this two small things be fixed?

How would I be able to keep the doc_background at a fixed size, while allowing a user to adjust the size of everything else? (using the %zoom tool)

add this code to the additional.css file:

border-color: transparent !important;
}

change "transparent' to a hex code color if you want: #000000 to match the other border colors.

Hi i have put the image folder in the right place and i go to import this skin xml but i get this message no_info_specified, Not sure what ive done wrong on this but it does it to another one of your ive tried.

Sorry can't support 3rd party addons, specially when i m not using them myself, see if the "shoutbox' addon has a .css file.

Not sure what your doing wrong, but this style has been installed a good 500+ times without any issues.

add this to the additional.css file:

change #000 to the color you want the background to be.

LOL! Very true indeed! I found the bug in the tracker on vBulletin.com (http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBIV-9325) and it's status says "Fixed" (which it obviously isn't) so I posted again (down at the bottom) activating the "Petition to Reopen". So, we'll see how far that goes :P

Sorry mate.. wasn't you... just if you knew how many people think it's our fault, it's just build up so badly now that i don't want to touch vbulletin again until they full out their fingers and worry about their customers and not their depleting pay packets..

Oh trust me, I know it's not your fault lol. In fact, I just started ANOTHER thread about this over on vBulletin.com lol. Maybe they'll get the motivation to fix it in one of the next versions :rolleyes:
