Thank you, can you make a mod with both functions? Threads and Posts at the same time?

sulasno 01-15-2011 07:39 AM

tagged and thanks

would it be difficult to use "Black Hole" instead of "Recycle Bin" ?

Hey everyone

when i tried to upload this product file to my board it said this to me

The following dependencies were not met:

1. The product recycle_bin must be installed before this product may be installed. (Compatible starting with 4.0.0)

so how can i fix this then

As specified in Move Threads to Recycle Bin, you must fill Recycle Bin forum in Settings-> Options-> General Settings-> Recycle Bin Forum

Good mod. It will be nice if we can specify the title for the new thread or if it inherits title of originating thread - something like "Deleted Threads From XYZ Thread"

Could it be possible that when someone delete a post it goes automatically to the recycle bin ? (like ipb)

Luca_ITA 08-06-2011 02:30 PM

Something that would be great is that when a post is moved to the recycle bin it would create a new thread based on the user and if any subsequent posts by that user were also moved to the bin they would be added to the same thread. In other words, every user whose posts were moved to the bin would automatically have a thread created specifically for them. That would make it easy to see who is having a lot of their threads moved so that maybe some sort of action could be contemplated against them if it happens too often.

+1 I'd like to see this too. It would consolidate the threads so there aren't tons of them.

That would be nice. Just like report-threads

I'm going to need some help with this cause I just accidentally deleted a big thread, but still have it in my backups mysql database file but need some code help. There is no photos in the thread, no polls taken, no attachments whatsoever, only posts which should make this easier I assume?

You need to be a bit more specific, do you get any errors, if so what are they, any errors in your server error logs?
