Description:
Display websites who have referred the forum.

Installation:

Import "product-websites_referred.xml" as a product, overwrite if it's already installed

Where to set option:
Settings-> Options-> Websites who have referred today

Languages:
- English

Settings-> Options-> Websites who have referred today

Moved through all of them. Never got anything except

Ran through all options, all possibilities, all combinations

Edit: Sure that this was a Mod / Template conflict. It worked on my test site, but failed on the main site. Test site did not have all the same mods as the main site.

Looks like a good mod to have, installed with thanks!

It could be interesting to add some filters for search engines. As you can see on the attached image, google is a big referer to my site...

Hmmm why does it list the same url over and over? Why does it not list the url once and put the number in brackets?

You are right, It would display www.google.fr (4) if all referrers are from the same url. But they are from different urls.
If you have "Referrer Page Title" disabled, the title is the url host.
So if the referrer is:
http://www.google.com/search?q=test
URL:
http://www.google.com/search?q=test
Title:
www.google.com

If there is another referrer:
http://www.google.com/search?q=demo
URL:
http://www.google.com/search?q=demo
Title:
www.google.com

As the referrer urls are different, they are different referrers, but they have the same title.

But if you enable "Page Title", would be:
So if the referrer is:
http://www.google.com/search?q=test
URL:
http://www.google.com/search?q=test
Title:
test - Search with Google

If there is another referrer:
http://www.google.com/search?q=demo
URL:
http://www.google.com/search?q=demo

I've uninstalled. Worked great, but a lot of the links were Google. Some sort of filter is definitely needed.

I'm having same issue as oldschool ... any fixes so it works with anything other than default forum theme?

It should work with any theme that has template hooks.

PS, yes I have a high end site with lots of referrals, Boots used to give me lots of results but clashed with more than one of the plugins I had installed on my site, hopefully this will work with other mods I have installed on my site.

works GREAT! Gonna be some problems considering the different locations, etc from google, etc. But... works for my purposes. I only have admins avail to view this... of which, I am the only one. So, I am happy. Thanks for this! 5 stars!

Also when you click on the referring sites link it only takes you to the sites home page rather than the referring page, but otherwise, it's a pretty nifty tool to have.

Something that has baffled me a little is the actual content of some of the referring sites as the content of my forum is a million miles away from that of some of these referring sites, but it's nice to see it all there in Black & White.

if u click on it they refer u to sites to buy things got nothing to do with my forums content at all and its getting more on every day ,to bad this is a great mod ,but somethings not good here ,cus it somehow is attracting spamsites
so for time being its un installed

This does not attract spam sites. It only saves your referrers.
In next release I will include some new options like do not save some site urls, or keywords.

not working as i tought.

there came people to my site from google searches. and every search has it's own link. this means that on my forum i get a lot of www.google.ro(1), www.google.ro(1) instead of www.google.ro(X). recode please

I have this mod installed, and it shows the number of times a link has referred to the forum, but not the links themselves.

I have attached a screenshot of what I mean, as well as a screenshot of my settings.
