Description:
Add an alphabetical forum filtering on Forumdisplay.

Installation:

1. Import "product-alphabetical_forum_filter.xml" as a product, overwrite if it's already installed

Where to set option:
Settings-> Options-> Forum Display Options (forumdisplay)->
Forums to Enable Alphabetical Filtering

It would be good to be able to enable/disable it in certain forums.

layout is missing, tables surrounding the letters are missing in our skin

Can som1 tell me, how i change the words? The words are wrong (think wrong phrases).

if you know a little bit about html, than take a look in the xml-file :)

There you can change the template.

the "round corners" can be delete, if you delete

Do you want a per forum option where you can enable/disable in Forums & Moderators Manager.
Or a new vBulletin Setting where you can specify the forums?
Do you see border in memberlist?
Did you modify lightweightbox_border stylevar?
Are you storing css as files?

Not Working on VB 4.1.0.

Shows no option in the admincp

vB 4.0.6 dont works since update. dont have ACP-Setting to choose the forums :(

Have update - overwrite AND delete + new install the hack, but dont see the admin-options (options -> Settings -> Forumdisplay) :(

I forgot to include setting in xml product.
Download and overwrite product-alphabetical_forum_filter-4.0.1.xml

Hi there,

There are two ways to fix that.

First:
Add memberlist.css to your FORUMDISPLAY template (I didn't checked).

Second (the way I did):
Copy your "#charnav dd a { ... }", "#charnav dd a:hover { ... }" and "#charnav dd.highlighted a { ... }" css classes from the memberlist.css to additional.css.

Hope this hints will help you.

Is there any way you could add the option to sort the threads alphabetically after being filtered? I've tried to do it myself but didn't succeed. Like for example if theres 3 threads "Abc", "Acb", "Aab" and you filter by A, it will still list them like "Abc", "Acb", "Aab" and not "Aab", "Abc", "Acb". I love this mod thank you
