Taurus, what kind of avatar is it? Custom or stock? Stored in filesystem or database? The code cycles through and checks different scenarios so knowing the type of avatar will help troubleshoot the problem.

Taurus1 12-03-2010 07:51 AM

It is a custom avatar, and stored in the filesystem. Thanks.

betts02 12-03-2010 10:44 AM

Ok i have my avatars stored at /forums/images/avatars/

This is looking for them at images/avatars/

How can i change it ? Without having to move all the avatars to the path for this

Can i change the code where its asking for these ?
if so where, cheers

betts02 12-03-2010 10:53 AM

Requests :

Make it so you can select it by usergroups so you can show just your members
Add reputation stats
Thread stats
Not to include any forums with permissions - Mainly due to i have certain sections in my forums only for admins, this shows i am most active in there, i dont want people knowing this

Just abit more info on each member really

S3Ponline 12-03-2010 04:15 PM

Nice mod, however the avatar goes outside of the boundaries. It’s not neatly between the lines.

looks great on our site, top work DragonByte Tech ...rates 5 clicks installed

DragonByte Tech 12-03-2010 08:00 PM

Just uploaded 1.1.0
Adds reputation
Adds Threads with link to search for user threads
Adds ACP option to disable reputation
Adds ACP option to set max width and height of Avatar
Adds ACP option to display below navbar or below Active Users
Will only display most active forum if user has permissions to view, will hide field if user can't view any of the forums

This should also fix the problem of looking for the avatar in the wrong directory, let me know if it doesn't.

ProFifaLeagues 12-03-2010 08:22 PM

Just updated and looks great under the Nav bar but when we place it below the forums its missing the sides of the box it shows in!
Otherwise great and works well thanks again!

betts02 12-03-2010 10:44 PM

Uploaded the new files an XML

The avatar is still not working
The path and the size are not showing correctly

DragonByte Tech 12-03-2010 11:07 PM

betts, try the 1.1.1 file I just uploaded. I mistyped a variable.
You can get away with only uploading the files since the xml didn't change.

What kind of style are you running? I tried it on a few styles and I didn't run into that problem

ozzy47 12-04-2010 04:33 AM

I have it enabled below navbar and added two images to the dbtech_spotlight_userinfo template to show there.

I need to know how to code the following so it shows to the right and center of spotlight user info. Demo here: http://www.myfriendsspace.com/forum.php

PHP Code:

<a href="http://forumtoplist.gotop100.com/in.php?ref=147" target="_blank"><img src="images/vote_a.png" alt="Enter Top 100 and Vote for this Site !!!" border=0 align="top">

<
a href="http://forumz.top-site-list.com/vote599.html" target="_blank"><img src="images/vote_c2.png?u=ozzy47" alt="Top 100 Forums" border="0" />

Are you talking about having the images on the same level as the user, one in the middle and the other on the far right?

betts02 12-04-2010 06:57 AM

Works better but it just goes outside the line above as you can see here -

http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/683/fix0.png

betts02 12-04-2010 07:14 AM

And if you have plans and can make it work, Select the users to show via usergroup

My site is an xbox 360 clan community and we have members and community members, I would only want this to show our members

No kinda have Images right of the spotlight info, center of block and the images horizontial not in a vertical line.

Bacically I am trying to fill the block up so their is not so much blank space.

Thanks for the donation and for letting me use your site to test.
I figured out that vB doesn't like me using a couple floating div's there for some reason so I had to resort to tables. I got it working and looking good on your site. I rolled it back though so you wouldn't have to deal with reverting the template and all if I release another one and you need to update.

Let me know if anything is still off.

betts, I'll work on getting the display groups in there and release that soon.

[soapbox]

Donations are a MUST to ensure that Mod authors have a reason to keep putting in the HOURS it takes to get these mods to run.

I donate to show my appreciation as well as hoping to ensure future updates to mods, that make the Vb experience a more robust one, are still available during subsequent core software updates..

Shame on those that download and use a mod and never even so much as say "thanks" for the hard work. And a POX on those that download and then +++++ and moan about a mod that they are unwilling to support financially.

Time IS Money.

[/soapbox]

Also... works great now, Thanks !

Dr.osamA 12-06-2010 12:40 AM

thank you for update

I'm not seeing the mod auto update. The same user has been displayed for over 24 hours, and only changes to the next user if I hit save in the mod cp settings.

How often does this update?

There is a scheduled task setup to run at midnight every night. Trying running the schedule task from the ACP and see if it changes.

Lovely mod..

Permission are not working right.. users can see the Most Active In (forum) and as an Admin I might be active in private forums.. I know they can't get there when clicking it.. but not nice to even see the private forum.

Merjawy 12-12-2010 09:00 PM

Also I just found out when I disabled it from Options.. It didn't get disabled .. I had to disable it from Products settings page

Were you logged in as a test user or yourself when you looked at it? It shows the user who is viewing whatever forums they are allowed to view.

I'll check the disable function.
