It's hard to tell what is different about those two since they aren't using the same user information. The only difference I see is the lack of avatar in the second image. It looks to me like if you remove the avatar, then you have the profile shown in the second image. :/

Sorry, but I don't see anything in the image regarding hiding and showing the rank and username. If you want to do that, then just use the collapse function (I don't remember the exact name - look at the code anywhere else where they use collapse).

What template? I believe you would want to modify the postbit template.

Here's a trick to find the template to modify - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code. (Sometimes the template is the one mentioned at the very top of the page source.)
