LAM - Paid Subscription Expiry Notice
1 Attachment(s)
This product adds a notification line, and allows for notices to be displayed, when a user's paid subscription is about to expire.
Installation
Configuration You can limit the user groups which get shown the notifications and which paid subscriptions are checked (by subscription ID), and you can specify how many days prior to expiry before the notification/notice is shown. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...1&d=1287147042 On my site I have the days notification left blank so it is always shown, but the days notice set to 14 so the notice will not appear until the paid subscription is due to expire within two weeks. If you want to have a notice displayed as well then you need to create one, selecting the "User's paid subscription is about to expire" option... https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...1&d=1287147042 Example This is what a user will see in their notifications list; https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...1&d=1287147042 This is what a user will see if you create a notice like the one above; https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...1&d=1287147443 Version History 4.0.8.0 - Minor code optimisations (2010/10/26) 4.0.6.1 - Added missing phrase and fix the product version check (2010/10/17) 4.0.6 - Initial release (2010/10/15) |

Good one. Problem is that I've installed it but editing the notice the text "User's paid subscription is about to expire" is not shown. There's only the checkbox at the side but no text so I'm not able to understand if this is the right checkbox.

Works a dream!! Thanks for this.
[S]Any chance we could insert the code for which subscription it is that is expiring?[/S] Just realised the notification does do that. Great job. |
Works great on 4.1.11!! Thanks!
|
Sorry I'm new to all this. I have installed this and it works though a little premature. How do I set number do weeks before renewal is due

Just figured it out. It's amazing what can be achieved by just looking. :)
Its in cp/settings/options and there she is the little devil. |
Very...very AWESOME!!!!
NOW....can I make a tiny request??? Is there a way to also add in a bulk email a users Paid Subscription Expiry Date? I would like to send out a bulk email from time to time to all of my PAID members....with a line saying something like this: Thank you for using our forum, your membership expire on 07-04-12 Let me know...and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS MOD!!!! |
Kinda a dump question, is "User's paid subscription is about to expire" found under "vbulletin option"?
I look a few times but cannot find it. |
Any Chance of it for vBulletin 3.8.7???????????
|
I can't find where to create the notice either.
|
Where do you create a notice? I see others have the same issue. Can't find that option anywhere.
Oh wait, I think the coder means to go to your Notices and create a new notice. At the bottom of the screen you will see the option "User's Subscription is about to expire" |
Anyone using with 4.1.12 pl2 or later 4.x?
