Auto youtube embed player ( NEW PLAYER )

hey :cool:

this is the simplest and fastest youtube auto embed inside postbit

the mod will replace all youtube links to direct video player in your post

Installed and works great so far! Glad cuz the mod I was using quit working. Thank you for creating this! Like the silver framing too. Nice work. :)

Oh, wow- I just realized this was for vb 3.8, I am using vb 4.06 and it works great FYI, I will report if I have any problems~

can't get it to work - I still have a link.
Tried putting it inside a the URL tags.
Tried just typing it in.
Tried using the embed code in the CODE tag

I'm using 3.8.3

Any tips?

could you please provide a link of your forum has youtube url in post , then i can see the page source to see the problem in your forum embed issue

please go to Plug-in manger and check if youtube embed player mod is turned ON

really works, but there is a problem. To work properly, once created the post to edit, copy the link and paste it as plain text to work properly.

i have had not great luck with this.. seems to work for some videos, but not for other, the pos just displays the link.

I don't know any way to do a system wide find/replace in vBulletin. You're probably stuck with all the posts prior to installing this hack.

But, did what I told you prove accurate?

Works fine for me guys. It works by using the actual link in the adress bar of your browser.

Nope, cause often you will get a link that is longer then the actual "share" link, which this mod is built on.

Sadly it's not. Youtube changed their "share" links, which makes this mod outdated.

The youtube-browser-address-link with the syntax

works on my side perfectly.
