Extra Permissions Forum Suite (Lite)
 

This hack will allow you to set a post count on a forum per forum basis for your members to order them. This can be also done with group promotion but like this it is way much easier and handier in my opinion.

It adds 4 more permissions besides the posts. The extra permissions are as follow:

1) Number of Threads

2) Days Registered

3) Reputation Points

4) Gender


To install the mod upload the includes folder inside the mod package to your forum 's includes folder and then import the .xml file from your Manage Products area at your Admin Panel.

To configure it go your Acp->Forums & Moderators->Forum Manager. Choose the forum/s where you want to enforce the restrictions, click at Edit Forum and all the way to the bottom, you will see a new setting that says: Miscellaneous Options. Configure the extra options according to your likings/needs.

To exlude a Group/s from this limit, go your Acp->Usergroups->Usergroup Manager. Choose the group that you want to exlude, click at Edit Usergroup and all the way to the bottom, you will see a new setting that says: Miscellaneous Options. Set it to Yes and save the changes.

Hi Borbole,

this is a nice addon and I have a question.
I want to use REP instead of post count, so if a user has X rep he should be allowed to go in the forum otherwise not.
Would you please be so kind to tell me what I have to change to make this possible?
I guess its only reading another db field or?

It has nothing to do with the db but that will be better done as a new mod.

I would love to have this, i really need it. But I can't do PayPal.. they perma limited all my accounts. :( >_< and the Mastercard/debit card that has money on, they won't accept that either.. >_< any other way?

I'm going to try to get a virtual Visa card, it turns out that mastercard/debit card was associated with the PayPal account too, and they won't remove it at all ... :( So I'm going to try and load a virtual visa card from this mastercard and maybe try it with paypal lmao.

Hi I have been using your mod. I have a question, on my site with the gender lock active on the forum it still shows in the activity feed(What's New). Is their anything I can do to change those settings so the Gender Lock forums doesn't show on activity feed? Any other plugin/Mod you can tell me to use?

I dont know this mod, but maybe you can use template conditionals?

or edit the template from the live feed, that only the title is showing....
