1) First Make Backups Of your forum db (this is standard) 1b) Turn off forum 2) Make Sure vBCredits v2.0.0 (vb3.8.x) is Installed (vbulletin.org link will be updated shortly with files) 3) Unzip file, and upload contents of uploads folder to your forum/root 4) Run the product file 5) Goto various settings and tweak them for vbcommerce before turning forum back on. Done. Information Updated (Aug 6th, 2013) This Mod is Currently Released As Is, This mod does not use any encrypted license systems to use. There are no plans at this time to do a vbulletin 5 release of this system via PixelFX Studios. I've updated email above for those interested in buying the paypal mod for this version of vbcredits. |

I know that there is a PayPal add-on where a user can purchase credits with their PayPal account. Then, they can purchase the item(s) with the credits purchased. I'm not sure if it's showing on the new site yet though: http://vb3.pixelfx.ca/ |

We had planed to do a private test of our final version of vbcredits I v2.0.0 gold & vbcommerce I v2.0.0 gold but decided to make the test public aka here, so this is that test, so more people could get involved. However however I guess it beats saying Patch level 1, patch level 2.
We ask that if anyone finds any major bugs to please pm me, and I'll sort them out before declaring this a gold release, so we don't have to put vbcommerce I v2.0.0 gold - Patch level 1, 2, 3 etc etc. |
This is a GREAT MOD! I installed it and have it on my website as a virtual shop so that members can give gifts to each other, it works so nice and smooth. I also use it so that members can buy things from the shop and use them on their living avatars. I just cant say how nice this mod is. However I recently discovered that when I have this mod installed in my website, my forums keep getting the following error

In order for a user to purchase a physical good they must first purchase credits and then use the credits towards the purchase of the product? |

After I install the VBCredits I v2.0.0, I install this mod & get an error:

The blank itemtype doesn't do anything other than being a place holder for items. What previous scripts did you have installed or are you doing upgrade from earlier versions of our software?
If your doing upgrade, make sure to turn off hooks in your config.php for vbulletin, then run the upgrade products for vbcredits v2.0.x first then vbcommerce v2.0.x if you PM me with your msn account emails for both dawx & leonhart, I'll add you to my msn and work with you to resolve the issues. |

Okay I will report it here as I don't know whether I am just an EGG or whether things really aren't working.
So I spent about eight hours yesterday creating about 150 icons, uploading them into separate categories etc so that my commerce store looked populated. Once it was all done it looked great and colorful and so to test I purchased an icon, all went well however when I went to 'Manage Your Icons' and put one of my icons as the postbit icon (display order 1) and clicked save it came up with the following error: Code:

Can I just confirm a couple of things; This works as a REAL shop, selling actual items that need shipping? Discounts can be given to user groups based on post counts etc? Is there a DEMO site running? |

You can use it as a real shop, but people have to use "credits" to purchase the items. It doesn't have a shipping/invoice component to it though. There is also a PayPal add-on which allows you to have people buy 'credits' via their PayPal account for their full purchase. All of it is being rewritten/recoded though and may not be updated as of right now. |
Small Note: all our systems including vbcommerce and vbcredits currently being rewritten, we hope everyone's had a safe holiday in the meantime. We'll have a new site and demo site running in the coming weeks, at which point we'll post more information here with upgrade info.

Hmm i cant add the itemtype product always getting 3 errors
like this: Warning: require_once() [function.require-once]: Unable to access [path]/includes/functions_commerce_it_icons.php I installed VBCredits first than commerce and now tryed itemtypes. Commerce and Credits Products are working fine, just cant add the Itemtypes. Anyway thank you for your Great work and thanks in afore for your answer. Vbulletin 3.8.6 Edit: Hmm...cant reach the developer, can anyone send me the files in a PM for itemtypes please ? |

Currently building a new system, under nda so can't discuss a lot at the moment. However I've setup vbcredits@gmail.com for any support questions outside of this site or vbcredits.com site, while most of my time is on development of these projects. Same goes for others that need support in this case. I'll try to reply with support questions in 1 to 2 business days or sooner.
