What is signature maker

VBHsignatrue make is what it is a signature make,
where you can choose a background, font color and
input some text.

There are 12 backgrounds to choose from and the text
input is limited to 30 letters including the space.

when your members have made the signature image they
then click on the Link Codes button to get the 3 ways
they can add the image to any site.

UPDATES

The zip file called signature maker new now has an admincp for adding new
buttons/signature images.

This will also put in the line breaks aytomaticly now for you,
no need to enter in [br] for line breaks.

These buttons will not show the image but will show text on the button,
have added a screen shot for you of this.

When adding your own signatures just use the photoshop template i have added
and remove the background image and place yours in place to make your own.
Please remember that you would have to leave the text area i have added to the template is in the right place for the image.

This is now limited to 20 signatures so adding more than that will not show.

UPGRADE

Just upload all files in the UPLOAD folder and upload them to your forums root.

Inport the product.xml file with overright set to yes.
This will add the menu table to your database.

Please remember to

Fullscreen mode Flash player Problems

Flash Player 9 does not allow keyboard input when displaying content in full-screen mode. Flash Player 10 changes this, allowing for a limited number of keys to be usable in full-screen mode. These include Tab, the Spacebar, and the (up, down, left, right) arrow keys.

Updated the signature maker new zip file as there was a problem with the way it was working on some sites.
Also the new files will show you the image as a button here is screen shot.

Also change size when viewing the signature made to 700 x 550

Added in the profile field for any content you would like to show on there.
Goto admincp signature settings and enter in the number of the field you want to show.

To change the text from Xbox Live Gamertag: just edit the vbhsignature_maker.php file at line
123 and change the text to your needs.

Have reuploaded the files as the swf file was not working this has now been fixed and is working fine.
Please RE-DOWNLOAD THE FILES AND UPLOAD TO YOUR SITE
no upgrade is needed just upload and it will work.

Added some new options for you, the options are as follows.
Disable Username
Disable Member Group
Disable Member Since
Disable Total x Posts
Disable Users Message
Disable Users website
Disable Custom Field ID

These have been added to the signature settings.

Also when you update the signature image it will automaticly update the image on any site you use the code on
The only time you would need to update the url is if you directly link to the image.

how can we add backgrounds?

is there any permission set?

At this time you cannot add new backgrounds with this free version.

Yes there is permission for canview the system and can make an image.

If they cannot make an image it will flash at the bottom of the screen you dont have access to make an signature image.

Can not really see a use unless you can add the backgrounds yourself, Shame really

yeh I'd love this on my forum but having to pay for a full version for an option like adding your own backgrounds (which should be as easy as adding them to a folder on your server) is just not right imo

The reason this has not been added as of yet is that they are all buttons in the flash swf that pass to the php file.
These buttons are not loaded into the flash file, but this is something that will be added into the script soon.

When this is added there will be a limit to how many you will be able to add on this free version the full version when made will have an unlimited amount.

Also if you want more images added please send me them and i will add them for you so that you can have more signature images for the free version.

You can change the backgrounds but the buttons will not be relivent to the images you have in the vbhsignature/bg folder.

Please remember that this is still in development and is only in beta stage at this time.

Dr.osamA please give more info on your problem so that i can help you on this.

Have you uploaded the vbhsignature_maker.swf file to your forums root folder.
Please make sure this is uploaded to the forums folder.

im working on a new button menu for this and will have it ready later tonight or tomorrow.
It will be limited to 30 signature buttons.

It would also be good to have the line break automatically rather then input the [br]

Also maybe an addition to allow you to have say the default images, but in the free version you can only add say 6 images.

Also try to include more letters than 30 as there is enough space between the "Member Since" and the first line of text you input

Also just a couple of bugs i see

1/ When you press to go Full Screen it will not let you input the text

2/ When you are in Full Screen, The Options on the right hand side

The text saying Full Screen still says Full Screen when it should say Small Screen to take you back to Small Screen

Im will be updating the files here maybe tonight or tomorrow it will be limited to 20 signature images.
These will can be added or changed within the admincp as requested.

I will also be adding in a signature template so that you can make your own signature images from the template.

As for the bugs you have found these will be fixed very soon but thanks for letting me know.

Thank you. This mod is great.
However I have a problem with it. My forum uses an image for user title. So it shows a link of image in signature. And my forum's language is vietnamese. It's not support utf-8, I can't type unicode in text box.
And I think if you can make more options with this mod (Ex: add link forum, add information, support utf-8,...). It will a great mod.

have you set the options in your admincp usergroup orptions
Allow Image BB Code

If this is set to no then they will not be able to add the signature image to there signature.

Just to let you all know i have released an updated version that will let you add your own signatures.

Have also updated the line break to do this automaticly for you.

As for the fullscreen problem with the text input this is a flash player problem for more info on this you can find it here.

Just edit the vbsignautre_maker_admin.php file and remove this line of code.

As i have put in the UPDATE text these are only buttons now and not image buttons like in the first version.

With the new version you can add text to the button at the moment till i sort out adding the images to the buttons.
But this will not be avalible in the free version.

Files have been updated and will now show the image of the background.

would be sweet to see some more stats associated with it! Like post count, other profile fields on the site. (IE: we are a gaming community, so displaying someones xfire would be awesome!)

I have found out the the GD image maker does not support arabic and this is why this is happening for you.

On my site is still the first version as im making the commercial version for my site that will be updated very soon.
