What does this do? :confused:

This mod. allows you to protect your links using TLI.TL link shortening and Protection service by auto protecting links with TLI.TL links
When users visit your TLI.TL link protection page they will see your ads, videos ,photos, articles and of course the original link that they seek.

Installation: :cool:
-------------
1- Upload the content of "upload/vb" Folder to your forum folder.
2- Import the XML product file from your AdminCP.

How to use? :erm:
-----------
1- register in tli.tl.
2- get your API from tli.tl user panel after login.
3- put the API in your forum Admincp->options->TLI.TL Link Protector.
4- put the links you want to protect between <tli.tl></tli.tl>while writing new thread and they will be protected
5- go back to your account in TLI.TL and add some media and some Ads to appear with your protected links

Uninstallation: :mad:

1- Delete the uploaded file.
2- uninstall the Product fro your AdminCP.

Protected from what?

From being copied :D with out any credit to your effort

But with this protection your ads will appear under any copy circumstances.

Surely having your link copied is a good thing?

I'm talking about your uploads not your site links

You upload and waste time >>>> others copy and steal traffic.

Many sites are using - manual - link protection just like myegy.com ,arablionz.com and many other sites.

They are protecting their uploads from being copied to other places by using a url shortener.



as an example : let that you uploaded these links

if some one copied this content to his site, so we can say that you wasted your time !!!! what if 100 sites copied this content ??

when these links are copied in other sites, every one will have to pass through my TLI.TL page to get the protected link .... he will see my ads >> so I'm not wasting my time or effort right now. Copying my content is now helping me to get more visits and more ads impressions and clicks as well :)

Protection here means effort protection

uploading files takes a lot of time

if the links to these files are copied to other websites .. these sites may get more visitors than you if they are known enough or archived in Google in better position

so how to keep some credit for you the main uploader ???

TLI.TL is not just a link shortening script, because link shortening scripts takes you directly to your page. but this one gives you two options:

1- direct redirection: just like any other short linking script

2- indirect redirection: passing through a redirection page that contains the original link, your ads and some content you put (videos, photos and articles)


so, if you used option 2 (indirect redirection), you will get a shortlink that gets you back to a page where your ads are, and this is what i call keeping some credit for you.

Where ever your link have been copied, people will have to see your ads page to get the original link


Example :
These are Download links of a game named Maafia 2 .... try to download it from both types of links:

non protected links:
*** All links removed. Please do not link to warez content. ***

Now imagine using the 1st sort of links in your site, and using the other sort.

Now let that links are copied to other 100 sites.
