Thanks for the update, although I'm not a fan of the ads.

I'm not either. That's how Mibbit makes their profits though. I suggest adblock if you (and your users) do not wish to see the ads. :)

Can the stats module be made available for other IRC networks? I was REALLY excited about having some nice live stats without coding a bot and a plugin of my own, since the guy who runs a bot on our server that could have been used for stats just left the place.

'Twas a huge bummer to discover that the stats stuff was specific to vbirc.

It's possible, but we've limited the stats to vbirc, as it requires a few additions to the irc server itself.

You're always welcome to use vbirc, as we are always open to anyone who wishes to join our network.

I'm open to some server additions, if you're open to sharing the stats module. We've got a pretty established channel on the server we're on, and we're friends with many other channels on the same server. Moving just isn't in the cards at the moment ;)

Do you happen to own the IRC network in question? If so, it's doable. If not, the stats module here isn't of any use.

I'd prefer not to have modified files for the stats to be out there, due to the fact that people start asking questions about services I cannot fix, thus my decision to try and keep it on vbirc.
If people start modifying the files, there's nothing I can control about that, it just won't be supported (as far as stats go, or whichever part they modify to their liking besides configurable options).

I don't own or operate the server myself, but am good friends with the person who does, and he's added things to the server on my request in the past. It's a medium-sized server and I run the largest channel on the joint, so I don't foresee any issues requesting something small like this.

I won't bug you if stuff goes wrong, though. My word - wasn't expecting any sort of support ;) and I wouldn't distribute it, of course.

Haha all support isn't the thing you'd have issues with, just stats. I'll help you get it up.

I'll send you some information in PM so we don't clutter this thread with how-to stuff.

If you downloaded the 2.0.1 package before this post, and you use the vbirc statistics module, it is very possible that the automatic update for statistics is _NOT_ working. I suggest you redownload the package in the first post, and upload all files. (Please note: This does NOT require you uploading the product xml)
