https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=228755 - There's one sticky!
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=228756 - Same thing different forum https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=229091 - HOw to post your upgrades (lol) There should really be "Announcements" in the mods, graphics and styles forums. Make user's acutally read about vB4. (I take it, most newbies and/or other people don't take the time to read stickies, so why not make an "announcement") |
well admins need to start putting their foot down on this
|
I think they did, when angry customers complained about the Alpha being leaked! Next thing beta is out, after a posting stampede haha.

Because an announcement is more likely to be read other than a sticky.
|
Announcements won't deter these types of posts; they sprout like weeds with all major releases.
Since they are directed at a specific modification and author, I rather they remain within the mod thread rather than a general request forum. |

The point of asking if it works with 4.0 is to remind the programmer that there are people still in need of their work, and hope for an upgrade soon. It helps prioritize what gets worked on and what is put on the back burner.

If it really bothered the programmer they can do a few things: - remove their work form the site - reply and explain what they plan to do - select no support in the settings of the modification and let the end-user pound sand |

I am at 1430 feet above sea level and above many, but I do not see how that relates. |
I'll ask again

what difference does it make if I am a coder or a end user? Am I not allowed to dislike something because I'm not a coder. |

How difficult would it be to add a box "Request Port to VB4" on each 3.x mod so users can simply 'vote' for mods to be ported? Then coders would have a real sense of demand. |
