Anyone Else tried Wibiya yet?
 

I was searching through some Vbulletins looking for some ideas, when I stumbled across a site using the Wibiya Toolbar at the bottom. So, I checked it out. It's free to use on your site and includes a whole bunch of good stuff for it, such as video/audio chat room. Live Stats, search, and much more. I was just wondering if anyone else is using it yet and what what do you think of it?

I have seen it being used on many forums and blogs. It looks like a cool toy initially but soon the charm wears off and becomes most annoying.

Also Google will give your site -ve points for using pop unders so its bad for SEO as well. I would therefore advise against using it.

I only know of one site using it.

I added to one of our forums once, the members hated it, so it was removed.

We added it to ours.

Users HATED it.

We also added COMETCHAT

Haven't tried it yet, but have been looking into it.

I use it and its great!

I plan on installing it on my site, and making it optional. If my users do not want it displayed, then it won't be.

One key is to not add all their apps that they offer, some will really slow down the display of the toolbar. I took off the who.amung.us one for that reason. Mine is somewhat sparse until I can redo some of the icons today.

I have tried it but it seems too generic IMO. Sure you can add the default "add this to all these social networking sites" that you see on every other site but it really doesn't take advantage of vbulletins features. It would be nice to see one designed specifically for vb that includes PM's, latest posts, etc. maybe a summer project. :)

It will do latest posts, you have to give it your external.php address etc. Mine does.

Pms of course would rock.

Anyone have a link of a site using it? I would like to see what it looks like.
