[AJAX] Album Next & Prev Links Use AJAX
1 Attachment(s)
Album Next & Prev Links Use AJAX About this hack: This hack should be a standard feature in vBulletin. But since it is not, enjoy this mod. While viewing a picture in an album, this hack makes the Next & Previous Picture links AJAX. Instead of the whole page refreshing and you have to scroll back to the picture area to see the picture, just hit next and the image will change along with the comments and anything else that belong to the picture. All you have to do is upload the product file. No template edits or ftp file uploads. This hack will work with my Album Picture Clicks to Next Picture in Album template mod. When you click on the picture, the image will just change to the next image without refreshing the page. Version 1.20 (05/01/2010):
Version 1.21 (05/02/2010):
Please post your comments or suggestions for this hack. I read ALL posts. MAKE SURE YOU CLICK INSTALL! You will get an email when a new version is released. |
Tagged for later. Will wait for other users to try first :D
Seems to be working fine :D |
I just tried this and it doesn't work for me. I have 4.0.3 patch1 running. After installing this my next-prev buttons actually do not work any more. Seems like a great mod though, it could be a conflict with another mod for me though as my board is heavily modded. Curious to hear other 4.0.3 user experiences

4.0.3 PL1 and works so far. Thanks it still seems like the whole page is refreshing though but I may be overlooking something.

Got this error on picture pages after installing on 4.0.2 PL4:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home/******/public_html/******/testvb/includes/class_core.php(4010) : eval()'d code on line 29 * = Removed folder. |

Doesn't seem to work with 4.1.2. Not on my forum anyway.
|
It's working in vb4.1.2 :D
|
excellent modification.

Useful modification, but a little thing that I would like to change is to make working count of picture in title of page. I'm using firefox and when I see next photo the title of a page are still (Picture 1 from 59). Sorry for my english. ;)
