Hello this is something great that I've been looking for for a while now.
I have an issue though with the mod. When I "bump" a thread, it works to bring it to the top (great), but no matter what the thread is always "new". Even if I click on it, the thread will still continue to show as "new" and will remained highlighted even after read numerous times. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |
I remember older versions would never show the bump in the forumhome. Does this version solve this?
|
I have enabled but no bump in Moderation tools.
Never mind found it, thanks for the great mod. Clicked installed. |
I have vb-advanced so I was wondering, if I use this mod, would that mean that it would re-arrange the news on homepage? Because sometimes I lets say have 3 news in the homepage. And lets say one of the news was already over and I don't want to show it anymore but I dont want to delete the thread.
So would this mod like make the thread post date change so that it would move backwards in the list? |
thx as always
|
Tagged, seems useful.
Thanks. |
thank you : )
|
This little thing is just great!
I used to have it on my previous forum hosted on IPB, thanks for letting us have it on vb too! 5* + installed |
Inline Moderation doesn't work with this mod!!
|

i'm having problems, the bump hack is making conflict with the moderation tools . When i try to move threads, it bumps them instead. Like i said i can't use move thread option because the bump thread pluging is blocking the move threads option and bumping the threads instead of moving them.
i will have to uninstall it until a respond from valter :) |
v1.1 - Apr 08. 2010.
-Fixed bug (conflict with 'Move Threads') To upgrade: -Import XML, allow overwrite |

|
thank you very much valter <3
|
I must be Blind... I can not see the Bump in Mod tools or administrative tools, Mod is active. So where is it hiding? LOL
|
It's in ModTools menu below thread listing.

Using 4.0.3 and yes I ticked a thread and still no Bump in Mod tools. |
It's there I just tested the xml and I had to tick a thread then use mod tools and I saw it. Using vb 4.0.2 PL4

I think you guys are using the moderation tools from inside the thread. To access the bump you have to do it from outside the thread <do not open the thread or you will not see any bump option in it. Just check the thread (Highlight )you want to bump from outside and use the moderation tools and you should be able to see the options to bump and de-bump. I'm also using vb 4.0.2 pl4 and its working perfect.

Hi valter, can you please take a look at the birthday greeter when you get a chance. thank you:) |
loved the old version, so installed this one for 4.0 :D
It's such a great way to get nasty topics lower on the page (instead of having to close them) |
Question: If someone goes on a bumping rampage...how do you find out who is doing it?
|
I may add option to log actions in next version.
|
Valter, I thought this is only for Admin use? Is there any way we could control which user groups can have access to it?
|
It's for Admins and Mods.
There is no way to give access to it to other groups as it's part of Moderation tools. |
