Add Facebook comments to user profile
 

This will give facebook users the option to leave comments on user profiles. You do not have to have facebook connect to use this but you do have to have an application setup.

What is needed for this modification:

• A standard facebook account.
  
• A facebook application, anyone can set one up and it's simple http://www.facebook.com/developers/createapp.php Be sure to add your site URL to the "Connect URL" and take note of your API Key.
  
• In your Admin CP import the product file then go to vBulletin options and configure Facebook Comment Tabs, enter the API Key.

Nice perhaps after vB 4.0.3 I´ll give it a try.

one question, in Connect Tab in application setting forum url how should it be? like : http://mydomain.com/forum/ ?

and the path of htm file howshould it be?

Please re-download and try again, Facebook has updated their code and I needed to change this mod to reflect it. You can import this and overwrite the existing version.

is that work also with 4.0.3?

me too :) there should be any type of "conversation" between the existing conection between vbulletin 4.0.3 and FB

I don't have 4.03 to test but I don't know why this wouldn't work so if someone can give it a shot and let us know that would be great. Also, keep in mind this has nothing to do with FB Connect, it's independent from all of that.

It did work, althought I dont know if it does correctly. For example: when Victor post a message on Admin Facebook Tab Profile from Vbulletin, the message shows on his facebook account and not on admin's facebook account. Is it correct?

how can I change the language its displayed?

Added bonus to this, FB now automatically includes the "Like" link with this.

Looking at your source code it all looks right. I would double check that you didn't miss a digit or something in your API.

I check API code once again it is same like before :(

is their anything we need to change in Facebook application page just than Forum URL.

It would be cool if it could handle replies from other members. Just like it does on FB when someone replies to one of your comments. That was make the Mod awesome!

Took me a little bit but I got it working.

I have a dark site and everything on the tab is dark. Can't read the text at all. Is there something in the plug in that controls this?

The application ID specified within the "fb:app_id" meta tag is not allowed on this domain. You must setup the Connect Base Domains for your application to be a prefix of http://www.egyptsons.com/misr.

I found a totally weird bug. When it says blog next to FB comments it works just fine, but if not no comment box nor loading shows up. WTF???
