add Ads to each forum
 

This modification will Add an image banner w/ link Or paste in your own HTML code option per forum. These files can be any image. (png, jpg, gif, ect).

Banner Image - (location of image)
Banner URL - (Link that you go to when u click the banner)
Alt Tag (if you mouse over the banner; pop-up text)
HTML Paste (added)

You can also fill out the info when you make a new forum.

Installation:

-Import XML file (as product): AdminCP > Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]

To set options:
Go to: AdminCP > vBulletin Options > Ads On Category

Admincp -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager -> Edit Forum -> Fill out the banner info.

Sorry if I'm missing the obvious here, but are these ads only for the forums main page, or are they viewable in the forumsdisplay page as well? I'd like to have one banner at the top of the forums main page, and individual unique ads on the forumsdisplay for each forum page as well.

Sorry, ry215, I'm trying to understand more. According to your screenshots, one can only add the ads above the forums in the main forums page. If one can add them to the forum display thread, you know, where the threads for the forum are being displayed, then this mod would be of great interest to me. I was just curious which is the case, or if both are the case.

MySQL Error: Unknown column 'ads_code' in 'field list'.

What's the difference between using this mod and creating an ad using the built in advertising system to just create an ad viewable only to users browsing a specific forum ... i.e. the ad is for that forum only?
