Installation:


Download

1. Yahoo Smilies.zip
2. product-yahoo_smilies.xml

and unzip Yahoo Smilies.zip

First : upload foder Yahoo to http://yourdomain/images/smilies/
After: -Import XML file (as product): AdminCP > Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]

Done :D

Could n't get it to work.

Uploaded the Smilies into forums/images/smilies and images/smilies and neither actually show the graphic images.

You have to keep the smilies in the yahoo folder and upload the yahoo folder to the smilies folder.

I have done so, I can see them when I click on the MORE button when posting a message.

What now happens, is that either the actual symbols appear, like \ / or a completely different icon actually appears.

Would screenshots help ? Or you can go to my test area at www.mocgb.net and see for yourselves.

Perhaps there is an alternative smilie set I could use ?

You apparently do not have the yahoo folder path set correctly.

Mine is set like so: /forum/images/smilies/yahoo

This line is in the xml file two times.

Yup, done that, still does n't work. I get the images displayed in the pop up window, they just don;t appear in the actual message. I get the raw ASCII, eg \m/

Got them to work eventually, without moving them. I basically had to go into the setup, and re-save the location setup. Now working.

I am having the same problem.. Re-installed twice.. They show up but not in the actual message...

Installed and working on 4.03.

Had to use the product located in zip file and not the one downloaded separately. I also saved the setup under 'Edit' in the AdminCP > Smilies area, just for good measure.

so strsnge that iserting the smiles stoped after a while
even if user choose it it doesnt appear now in my post

I have the same problems, smilies dont apear in the real messages or preview but appear in the small box

i just remove it and import them as normal
