Another bug:

When you create a ladder and then click on a username and then click on "Challenge Player" link ladders.php?do=insertchal&lid=&u2= you get the following error message: Error. Invalid ladder

Alibass 03-25-2010 02:36 AM

Good hack, but it was a pain to translate German to English.

Also link commands do not display properly when you cut and paste to IE 8

Links however do work fine with FireFox.

*Installed*

Disregard the link comment I made earlier. I don't use IE that much and it's probably a setting or add-on that is needed for IE.
FYI: What I get when using the IE 8 browser and adding a link to my signature via coping and pasting process is this:

BigRCPlanes.com[/url] instead of BigRCPlanes.com

You don't get the [/url] at the end when using FireFox browser 3.6.2 and copying and pasting process. Like I say it's probably something on my end.

I do have an suggestion and that would be to add a on/off for the navbar link. I like mine to the far right as you can see here.

The current location (after calendar) has this on/off option :)

But I?ll add more location in the next days.

That's good to hear. :)

I haven't looked at version 1.02 as I have your first version modified to my liking on my site.

Kolbi 03-26-2010 03:10 PM

Does this version remove the quote marks for the sig links?

[ URL="http://www.yoursite.com"]YourSite.com[/URL]

On some sites the" " does not display the sig properly and you half to remove them to make it work.

Kolbi 03-27-2010 05:34 PM

Can?t reproduce this...

This
HTML Code:

[URL="http://www.google.de/"]http://www.google.de[/URL]
works in signatures and in posts...

You mean that this would me the correct solution?
HTML Code:

[URL=http://www.google.de/]http://www.google.de[/URL]
This works in vBulletin, too. But normally the first version is the correct one.

Everyone is not running vB sites that you put your sig link at. Kind of a catch 22 for those who do not understand to remove the " " and their sig will work.

Kolbi 03-27-2010 06:22 PM

Okay :)

Do you think there should be another place there the code is given without " or shall I only remove them?

What do you think is quite better?

losedude 03-28-2010 01:16 PM

Looks good, though it should say "Link to us" .

Thank you!

The problem is that I?m not a native English speaker :) So some phrases might be wrong :)

Can someone confirm that it should be Link to Us instead of Link Us ?

losedude 03-28-2010 01:44 PM

A quick google should support my claim ^^ :
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...=&oq=&gs_rfai= vs http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...=&oq=&gs_rfai=

Kolbi 03-28-2010 01:59 PM

38.000.000 against 21.000.000 search results :)

You?re right, it will be fixe in the next version!

Thank you!

Kolbi

I think more testing needs to be done on other software sites before you make a big change. Maybe you can post here for test help and get more feedback on the matter.
I can honestly say I have tested it on:

1) phpBB sites - does not work correctly, need to remove quote marks

Okay thank you for your report.

I added a notice to first post.

BBCode works on:
*vBulletin

BBCode doesn?t work on:
*phpBB
