About :
Updateing a old vb3 mod to vb4 - Original modification for 3.8

Features :
- Allows admin to add promotional codes,
when a user uses such a code during registration, he/they will be put in a predefined usergroup.

Changelog :
V1.1 : Added point options, option to add points if using some sort of cash system.

Installation instructions :
1) upload the files
2) import the product,
3) change settings in adminCP

Uninstall :
1) Simply uninstall the product file,.
2) file's
- admincp/einv.php
- includes/xml/cpnav_invitationcode.xml

Plans for furture upgrades + bug's found :
- Adding a log for 'who registered' with this.
- [s]Adding points if registered with cupon code.[/s] - Completed in v1.1
- Adding possibility to add a limit to each code,

Interesting mod gone try but i had one suggestion is their are chance u can add points if some joined using invitation code that will support Ucash Add on ??

Nope, and wont happen..

But i got another mod that moves a user to another usergroup from the one he is in.
But i havent released it, using it on another site, but need to make it work with phrases.

Just didnt think there was a need for it, so havent released it publick.

From the sounds of the project your working on is something else that i could really use, i'm looking for a mod that a user can enter a code and it moves them into another user group to see hidden subscriptions.

not working on 4.0.4 mod installed successfully but not working properly on the registration didnt put any invite code during my testing registration i m still able to access all process.

I just had a few feature requests.

1. Limit the number of times a code can be used.
2. Key generator, with the option to set a prefix.
3. Key expiration dates

agree on all of the above, but would MOST like to be able to set the group as an additional usergroup, not set it as the primary group. The issue is that this code allows a user to bypass the normal email verification check.

I was VERY excited to use this mod as my forum is Clan based and we were looking for an invite system. Unfortunately, this mod does not work for me. As soon as the mod is activated I get an internal server error as seen here: http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/...nviteerror.png

Once I disable the mod, everything returns to normal. Suggestions? I would really like to use this mod :)

I like this idea, but is it possible to make one that will allow Registered users to add the coupon and make it where it can add a Additional Usergroup instead of Primary?
