Image resizer using nCode script
This hack resizes external images (not attachments) in cms, blogs, posts, new thread preview, signatures, private messages, visitor messages and vBadvanced CMPS. You have the option to: Disable the hack. Choose the resize mode. Default Maximum width. Enable and disable cms resize option. Enable and disable postbit resize option. Enable and disable signature resize option. Enable and disable blogs resize option. Enable and disable private messages resize option. Enable and disable visitor messages resize option. Enable and disable vBadvanced CMPS resize option. This hack has been tested: - Using IE, FF, Chrome and Opera using default skin. Installation: - Upload the contents of upload folder to the root of your forum. - Import the XML file via Plugins & Products > Manage Products > Add/Import Products. - If you want to use "Enlarge in the same window" option you must edit "Image Medium Max" stylevar for the style you are using. Set this stylevar to high number e.g. 2000px or more if needed. Upgrade: - Upload the contents of upload folder to the root of your forum overwriting the existing file. - Remove old product from AdminCP produact Manager. - Import the XML file via Plugins & Products > Manage Products > Add/Import Products. Turning off javascript optimize is ok. |
Hi, can you add different size options for blog page and forum post?
|
thanxxx
installed ________ |
Post di thread - successfully resized + button to view the actual size
VM - failed PM - successfully resized + button to view the actual size Blog - successfully resized + button to view the actual size User group - failed Album - successfully resized + button to view the actual size can u make failed become successfully resized especially on visitor messages and usergroup discussion ? |
demo please?
and linked image work with this mod? |
Can you add an option in the AdminCP to enable/disable that "Click this bar to view the full image" please. I'd rather it just be a click on the image, with no notification. It's especially annoying on signatures.
It would be nice to have a separate set of size restrictions for signatures, rather than a global setting, but I can live without that for now. ;) |
very good thank you

I have a suggestion.
Instead of just setting a rule for image width, how about one for "height?" I have a big problem with members using signature images that are too tall & I have to scroll an entire screen/page to get past their signature. I would like allow my members to have a signature image that is: <= 600px wide <= 300px high |

You can not say failed ... in description of this hack it never says it will do that. . |
i love this mod , i had it installed on all my forums since 3.4.0 as i remember
|
Attachments aren?t resized, too. :)
|
Thank you! I was waiting for this mod, been using it on 3.x.x for ages. I don't like the way the other 4.x.x resizers work, this is much better.
|
Thank you for this! Used it in 3.x and was lost without it in the move to vb4.

It does not work if i use HTML to insert the image, as opposed to BB Code
The image was displayed but not resized the image i was inserting seemed to be a dynamic URL as it would not display when i used [IMG], so I used HTML "<img src=... >" Image URL: HTML Code:
http://api.ning.com/files/NjhGbaSxaaUhgACDVqZd8n23X8ehocNjXDg0ZEZ9yVVW1xt179p-ffO3*Bruui3beDALY4i8eFg0u2NhV1Zwa0b*inAqtwQj/307_stinkmeaner.jpg |
This should be great, but don't work in the CMS..... not there's some option to allow the resize in CMS too?
|
thanks Installed
but not working with vbulletin4 Attachemnt system pictures :( |
man i wish i could get this working on my site and i love this mod on my 3.x forum ...seven think you could look for a small donation ?
|
Brilliant mod, thank you :)
Just a suggestion: Is it possible to allow percentages, like e.g. 85% of the CSS width? A max width of 600 is ok for people that are on 1024x768 resolutions (older laptops/new netbooks), but will be tiny on bigger screens. |
I am in the process of making new hack ... if I am successful ... I will try to add custom resize function.
|
please add resize image visitor messages to mod
|
I've installed it, but it's not working with me!
Any help? Thanks in advance. |

Nice mod, but when the image enlarges in the blog entry, it goes behind the blog side bar. So I have to either check the option to open the image in a new tab or open it separately. Can this be fixed?
|
Does this work on attachments and linked images?
|
How can delete this:
