Seriously, how often have you ever gone to a website and clicked on more than 1 ad?

How often have you gone to a website and saw 5 ads and just left?

Quality is better than quantity, and if you're using google ads (I don't think you are) then you get a reduced per-click price if you have more than one banner on a page.

Overall, I was kind of put off by not only the number of ads, but the fact that with all the pictures/banners on the page, none of them were for you.

You should try getting a small banner/logo for your website, it's a lot more pleasant than looking around for the specific text that I consider the "handshake" of the forum

Looks good.

I think every type of site I have seen like this uses a lot of ads. So it actually works for this forum for some reason lol

I would say to maybe integrate them into the style more...They do have to be in high traffic areas though so where they are is necessary..

Why not redesign the vb forum as a million dollar pixel type site, with 1 pixel in the middle for the forum ;)
