1st install - works great.
I've been waiting for this one - Thanks Valter! |

Ops, I've intended this mod in another way. I thought that members of a specified usergroup cannot post in all the forum but in one defined by the administrator.
For example in my board all the new members (post count < 1) have to introduce theirselves before posting in any other area. Unfortunately this mod only ask for a confirmation and does not prevent user to post in a specified forum. Do you plan to modify this one or have anyone a suggestion for a mod that do what I've explained? Many thanks. Excellent work anyway... |
thanks 4 the good work

I'm using this for same purpose. On my forums users are asked to make first post in forum X and all other forums are not available for posting until then. |
Thanks Valter, good suggestion. I'll install that one...
|
Looks like you are remaking all of the cyb mods :)
|
Thanks Ive used this in general so that users can change the destination forum they want to post in if they choose to
|
Thanks, this will be useful for me...
|
AWESOME, I mean just awesome. I love it, easy install and within minutes I had users thanking me for having this. and on 4.0.8
|
Great, thanks! I love all of your mods!
My question - is there a way to limit how much of the forum jump menu a user would see on this? When I tested it, I found that a user could see my staff forums. It doesn't let them move the thread there but I would rather they not show at all. Thoughts? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. |
I have been using this mod for a long time. I noticed today as I did a test account to make sure I am up to date on what registered users see and I noticed that this mod shows all forums, even ones that are private for PRO members, unistalled because it causes confusion.

Hi guys,
There is a warning thrown out by this add-on when submitting a new thread on vB 4.2.2 and using the newer versions of php 5 (5.4.20), Valter the fix is an easy one, split() becomes explode(). Quote:
Simply install this xml file again and make sure ?Allow Overwrite? is checked, you should also check the add-on?s admin options, once installed as well. (AdminCP > Settings > Options > VSa - Prevent Posting to Wrong Forum) .Me |
The private forums are also visible in the drop down list.
