Note : this can be costumized for all games..
Just used Anarchy online as an exsample.. You have to get your own images, since many are proberly copurighted and supplying images for a number of games would increase files size to much. |
Very Nice, We may have a use for this :)
BTW. I like the notice on the demo site regarding updating browsers to a newer version, Was that easy to implement?? |
Do the classes show in the postbit and profiles? or only in the guild widget?

to show it, for unregistered users. instead of using notifications. Quote:
else than what you see here, but its meant to direct registrants to the forms you make yourself, or another mod that contains the forms. etc.. |
Oh, thank's for the reply, it looks awesome, but I don't have any forms in my forum at this time, still, it looks great. :)
|
As i do not use the wigets or whatever they are, could this be made to place in a box on the forums home ?
Or in the side box where latest posts, etc can go ? sorry i am a newbie to vbulletin but if this is possible please let me know how cheers |
If you dont have forms, this mod works perfectly with Easy Forms or with an easier external form site http://allforms.mailjol.net/
Thanks a ton for this mod, it's absolutely what I was looking for! |

Its a forumblock, for vbadanced help, you need to ask over on vbadvanced forums, im sure brian can help you there, read the requirements. |
Excellent job my friend. Full install and customization for our website took only a few minutes. Well done!
|
I've installed this, configured, and added via the CMS system, the block shows up, but no content is showing...
http://www.botbh.com I also installed the forumblock and it's working just fine... (granted, I need to fix my icon size :)) |
It would be nice to be able to control the order of the classes... I put them in order, but it lists them backwords on the forums plugin.
|
I removed and reinstalled, and I get an error on the install that is there just barely long enough...
Warning: mysql_insert_id() [function.mysql-insert-id]: A link to the server could not be established in [path]/includes/adminfunctions_plugin.php(450): eval()'d code on line 3 The cms_widget table has the widget, but the cms_widgetconfig table doesn't have the matching entry. |

there's a way to make the apply different on game and guild?
an example: in my site i have different games (wow, city o f heroes, mortal online ect) with different guilds. i like to have the possibility to choose the game and the guild i want to join. i hope you implement this |
Yep.
After removing all of the product it still throws the same error, and I'd assume it's the widget being created because the forumblock creates just dandy. The code inside the widget that gets created is: Code:
$output = date(vB::$vbulletin->options['dateformat']) . "<br />\n"; |
Another note:
Your cpnav_egr.xml file has the displayorder on the wrong element. Code:
<navgroups product="evi_guild_recruit"> |
If your looking for a Good Idea how about instead of just Guild Recruitment Clan Recruitment. Like Join the Modern warfare 2 clan etc, or Join Group Alpha in ModernWarfare 2 that would be nice to iether be able to edit to that point or just have a separate addon your choice.

You could just change the name, and the contents as you wish. If someone really needs that, im sure they can figure it out, else i dont belive its that urgent  |
very useful mod for gaming sites! is it possible to make it appear in more than one block, depending on clan id?
|
I can't successfuly install this mod. Each time, the widget content is not showing, except the date. By the way, the widget code seem strange...
Code:
$output = date(vB::$vbulletin->options['dateformat']) . "<br />\n"; |
I'm having the same issues as Miyuki on vB 4.1.2.
|
I am having the widget only displaying the date too, can you help?
|
anyone get this working on 4.1.8?

Thanks :)
Got it working when I took out the 4 "■" from the code. |
This may be a dumb question, but using VBadvanced on vbulletin 4.2 I cannot find the module to add on my layout page. I tried to import a module, create a new module, but I am really just shooting in the dark.
How can I create the module for this in vba cmps so I can add it to my front page? I have installed and customized the widget and it all works fine, but I cannot display it via the vba layout page. churchguild.org is the website. |
Can you remake this for Vbulletin 5 connect..
