Powerful AJAX-based ChatBox for vBulletin.

Main Features:
-One step installation (no file uploads, no manual template modifications required)
-Put ChatBox on any forum page by setting script name and adding variable to desired template
-"ChatBox Full" (always available on separate page)
-"Messages Archive" (available on separate page, with options to edit/delete messages)

-Option to block usergroups from viewing ChatBox

Installation:
-Import XML file (as product): AdminCP > Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]
-OPTIONAL: Download attached images and extract them to images/editor (contains smilies/remove format icons)

To add to desired template (example FORUMHOME):
1. Add 'index' to THIS_SCRIPT locations (Product options)
2. Add 'FORUMHOME' to template names (Product options)
3. Open 'FORUMHOME' template and put "{vb:raw vsachatbox}" to desired line (for example after '') -> Save

To set options:
Go to: AdminCP > vBulletin Options > VSa - ChatBox

cant put the box in my footer

I copy {vb:raw vsachatbox} in my Footer under the old chatbox but nothing to see :/
the "above footer" option is not working with the sidebar.

EDIT: nvm it shows up, but on my FORUMS only, I need to use it as module for vbadvanced, it sees the forums as index.php because thats how my site is set up :) So yeah... hopefully someone here can tell me how to use it as module.

Did you choose disable on page position in the options menu since you inserted the code.

Any news about the use as module for vbadvanced?

Doesn't show on vbCMS (CMS) Front page

Got this error. (was using 2.3 and uninstalled, then installed 3. removed 3. and went back to 2.3 and its working again)

Great work mate, that sure as SH*T fixed it :up:

its in style manager and its called vsa_chatbox , choose your style and find it in the templates.

Found a couple bugs, one of them is kind of major.

If you collapse the block, there's no button to restore it... currently.. I have no way to see the chatbox again. heh

When in the archive, the dropdown for the user options doesn't match the site colors and I can't see the links (black on black for me). The other dropsdown menus seem to work as they should though.

That fixed it but the smiley option still appears on second line...

this looks like an awesome alternative to inferno shoutbox .. very nice mod

is there any possibility of adding private messaging to the existing list of awesome features?

please tell me where in the xml to edit where it says Chatbox by 11px dropdown menu on top of the shoutbox so i can put Mysite Chatbox, please!

Set it as above footer and it gets placed as a block in the sidebar. Cant use it below the navbar so am trying to manually place it. Placed in same spot as other shoutboxes but cant get it to show.

For setting it in options - ie index, what would you put if you are using the suite?
