If you are linking to an internal page, then this issue is inherent in the vbulletin navabar, it's a conflict between multiple tabs that use the same THIS_SCRIPT variable - I dont think any mod will get around this until vbulletin change the way the navbar is coded. It's horribly user unfriendly.

The-Undead 02-23-2010 07:50 AM

Simple yet perfect, thank you for sharing this.

Salome_Galia 02-26-2010 05:48 PM

Installed (2tabs). Unfortunately can't find the place (from the 3rd attached picture) where I can put my tab names / urls. Please, help!

trilOByte 02-26-2010 07:53 PM

Taker a look in the main vbulletin options menu, it's near the bottom IIRC.

Hi There,

Thanks for your great article.

I was hoping you may be able to give me some direction on how to incorporate the information in the following article https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=200686 - with your xml file? As I want to replace the standard vBulletin navbar buttons with the tabs style in the article. Any info would be great!!!

Unfortunately there dosen't appear to be a lot of doco around on how to do this and I'm new to the VB4 system.

Thanks KR

Great Mod !!!

However, my version is ALWAYS highlighting the "Home" tab. Any way to fix this so it highlights the selected tab ...?

Thanks!!!

Easy, un-install and install this one: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=233629

jgt58 06-10-2010 03:04 AM

By far the simplest tab mod to use!

vilhiem 06-13-2010 06:34 AM

This is great!

Is there any way to modify the "sub tabs" that display when under the "Forums" tab ...

For instance, where it says: "New Posts ... Private Messages ... FAQ ... Calendar ... etc."

Thanks!!!

sivaganeshk 01-06-2011 10:49 AM

Registration is disabled in the forum :(
Can anyone PM me the list of Telecom companies in India that support this Mod.

Wordplay 03-10-2011 10:55 PM

it looks like it is not possible to add links under the tabs for these tabs, if that were the case though this would be a very helpful mod.

as they have:
# New Posts# Private Messages# FAQ# Calendar# Community* Groups* My Albums* Friends & Contacts* Member List# Forum Actions* Mark Forums Read* General Settings* Edit Profile# Quick Links

under forum, it would be great to add some links under these tabs.

User88788 04-05-2011 02:50 AM

*update*

Sorry, I just realized that I just need to add in the full url with http://

------------------------

The forums are in a separate folder on my site and I wanted one of the tabs to be a link back to the original site. It's not letting me add in full urls, just pages.

Any tips on how to have it point to something outside of the /forum folder?

Thanks

Hawk7173 05-14-2011 05:46 PM

Any way of modifying it so that a individual tab could be made a different color?

tsptom 06-01-2011 06:04 PM

Is there a way to use external links instead of defaulting to the forum directory? For example if I wanted a tab to go to www.google.com?? The way it is set up it seems it would go to default to www.ABC.com/forum/google.com

Thanks

steven vaccaro 06-23-2011 06:50 PM

This works wonderfully. How do I pay the person who made it?

steven vaccaro 06-23-2011 07:24 PM

Is it possible to have the links open in a new window?

bikoy888 07-06-2011 04:57 AM
