Log In Log Out Redirection. Now added the UserGroup Exclusion + other new feature.
 

This hack will allow you to redirect your users to an url of your choosing anytime they log in at your forum and again when they log out. . The url can be an internal one, i.e. to the rules section of your forum or at the Introduction area, or it can be an external url.

You can enable and disable this hack at the Acp of your forum. You can also enter there the url to where you want to redirect your users to after they log in at your forum and when they log out.

You can also choose which User Groups and/or Individual Users can be excluded from the Log In And/Or Log Out redirection.

this happens all the time not just once, and happends to admins, this should be excluded please

Yes, it happens everytime that users log in. But I meant only one time for that session. Sorry if it caused any confusion. I will look into that admin thing.

You can do this with plug-in, using the built in " Login Redirect " which I have been using for 3.x (works the same way in 4.x)

I'm using it and its working fine on vb4, also it has ability to redirect the user to a given thread or forum upon logging in.

I hadn''t seen that hack but after taking a look now it is not the same thing. You can check the code of both hacks and you can see the difference as well. And my hack can redirect you to an internal link as well as an external one.

No, it does not. But it shouldn''t be hard to create a new hack that does that. I will look into it as soon as I have some free time.

I had one coded last year by VBStyles, it works very well and worked fine on 4.0 also. I guess I'm wondering if yours here will be compatible if I just leave the registration redirect in. I guess I would just have to try it. If all is ok I will hit support.

If you have coded before a registration redirect hack and it works with vb 4 then I think it is best if you submitied it instead of me creating a new one. It willl save me time as well.

You may want to as this one and yours seem to conflict so they won't work separately as far as I can see.

Can you post here the codes for your hack that it conflicts so I can have a look at it?

please can you fix to constant redirect everytime you login

and get annoying

I know what you mean but I can''t find a fix for that atm. It''s a standard redirect. But if it is annoying don''t use it all the time but only with special occasions for ex.
