Add pandora Page to your site!

1] Upload pandora.php
2] Import product_mikeypandora.xml
3] Configure to taste
4] Enjoy!

All the code (minus the pandora code) was coded by me (mikey1991) and it took me a while to do, all for free so while I realise that the base code in itself is not my property, I would appreciate my copyright notice is left intact.

Features:

Adds a new page with pandora feeds to your vBulletin.
Adds a navtab option with on.off in acp.
Adds "Info" fields next to the embedded player, customisable from the admincp
Adds links to your pandora profile on the same page.
Can select user, artist, or station, or all three
Toggleable Permalinks
Toggleable separate navbar for the product.
Shows listeners recent activity on pandora
Shows listeners current activity on pandora


Troubleshooting:

Nothing happens, no artists show up.. why?

1] YOU MUST BE IN THE US Feel free to check out my last.fm hack which is basically the same.
2] Is your pandora username inputted correctly into vBOptions?
3] Have you bookmarked items with the account?
4] If it's a new pandora account, you'll need to go through some stations and music and bookmark it.


Installing

Please mark this mod as installed to recieve updates!

Upgrading:

If upgrading, simply reupload pandora.php, and overwrite it and upload the product.xml, overwriting it.

Ok, So I downloaded your product thinking it would be fun to try. Installed fine. It's just not working.

I am able to open the page but other than your write up on the right side I don't see anything on the left side.

So what did I miss?

Is the system enabled? Yes
Add a link to the navigation menu? No
Show Bookmarked Songs? Yes
Show songs that this user has bookmarked on pandora? Yes
Show Bookmarked Artists? yes
Show artists that this user has bookmarked on pandora? Yes

figured it out. It didnt like my username Strange just retyped it and it was fine.

Looks pretty good. Waiting for feedback from other members and waiting for live demo.

Maybe some invisible ascii chars got copied if you copy pasted. Glad its working now, reckon you could use your site as a live demo?

Just waiting on people to install it so I can add a live demo, I don't have a Live vB4 install up :)

Does this not have the capabilities for users to enter their own e-mail? I can put a my Pandora user name in the admincp and it works but I want the users to be able to put their own in there.

Presently there are no plans to add that as a feature at this time. It is one username only.

So if I create a new account just for the site the users can click on it and wont have to log in?

Will this play through even if the user is not on the Pandora page?

Example, A user is browsing forums while Pandora plays in the background.

I've no experience with widgets, so no. If someone wants to adapt this mod into a sidebar widget, they have my full permission, as long as I am accreditted in some way, and that it is listed as an add on to this thread.

But can not find the admin settings or see any evidence of it being installed, except for it being listed in the product list.

EDIT: Works. Menu name in admin was called "Add Pandora Page". With all the settings in vBulletin, it was not easy for me to spot right away (sorry).

Any way to let users see their own station? A profile field? And run a coditional to check for the field completion, if not, then show default station?

This was kind of cool to have, but a growing majority of my members are not from The USA. And it was only take up space.

Can we see a screenshot of this? Also, I am using 3.7.x. Is there a way to get the media player itself? I am going to add it to my module for my CMPS
