How to learn StyleVars, Faster

Hey guys, it's Daveaite. Sorry I haven't released a theme in some time. What I have learned in the past few months can now be passed on to you guys in probably less than 5 minutes time.

Instead of releasing a few themes in the last 2 weeks, I've been working on putting all of style vars into a very simple interface for people to quickly design all their themes.

It's free to use and it's still in beta so you may catch a bunch of errors. Not all variables have been added yet, (theres hundreds) but this should hopefully answer many of the questions that having been circulating all over vbulletin.com and vbulletin.org

So heres the link : http://stylevars.com

Enjoy.

AMAZING work, dave!

Thanks -- I know you're going to make thousands of people happy. ;)

Hopefully people can help enrich your project by submitting their discoveries too.

Awesome, except for the needing to sign up to your site to view it part.

Nope, just go to stylevars.com and click on one of the "?" boxes that actually works. Many of them haven't been defined yet.

There is a limit though ("It appears that you've exceeded the maximum number of posts you can view...").

This is awesome! Very, very nice work!

Very good work! I think it will be better when you mouse over the "?" to have window with stylevar name and when you click to access more info. Now i watch em from the url at the bottom status line of the browser (when i mouse over).

The limit is what I was referring to ;)

^ yea that is kind of annoying.... dont see why i would need to register to learn stylevars
ill support by if you put a google ad under each 1st post is better imo :)

I'll be updating this later this weekend. I've disabled "the limit", which was a good idea at the time. Thanks for the compliments, very time consuming work.

Thanks again, daveaite, for providing such a valuable resource. I hope you receive a lot of input to flesh-out the reference guide so you don't burn yourself out completing it on your own. ;)

Kudos.

Thank you so much :)

I've used firebug for years & still have a hard time finding what I'm looking for.

Thanks, I'll take a look. Been updating my themes after 4.02, took longer to do than I thought.

I'll be working on hover-over tags in the next update.
