How to get the customavatar URL outside of vBulletin
Hey people,
got a serious problem here... im coding on a page outside of vBulletin, which includes the init.php, so I can work with the user variables... Problem now is that I want to display the users avatar, but I cant find a way to access the "customavatarurl" variable :( can somebody tell the trick please? :) thanks in advance! |
bump bump :)

can nobody help on this?
or if you only want to help me on this for money, just let me know how much it will cost pls! if your not sure what im talking about, we can discuss this via messenger also (ICQ / AIM / MSN) |
this sucks! how can nobody on this board be able to help on such a "simple" thing (im pretty sure its simple for somebody that knows vb) ??? :P

You might've got support if you didn't quad-post your answer to the top.
Unfortunately, I cannot help you. |
Have you even looked at the dates he posted?
This guy has been waiting for support for well over a month! Considering vBulletin are paid for forums, you'd expect a better community than a free to use forum. |
You cannot have url avatar out site your vbulletin board, it´s made by default.

idk did you try including global? that should fix it.
|
i had the global first, but somebody else recommended the init.php to me...
also when including the global, I had some weird errors... so do I have more user variables to play with when including the global.php instead of init.php ??? |
there is a request for paid work section, I would ask there is you are offering money.
3 bumps in one afternoon isn't the way to get help ;) |

got a guy from china via GAF that already did awesome work for me, he told me he can fix my problem.... will check out what he says before I "probably" waste time on this board again :/ still cant understand why people dont want to make money (help for free on something little like this). if somebody encounters the same problem one day and stumbles over this thread, feel free to send me a PM if you want to know how this story went out for me :) |
alright I think I found a solution and want to share it here with anybody that wants to do the same someday:
