and when i try to edit thread
help plzzzz

That is from a modification (there is no field names filesize in the attachment table any longer). Disable the modification and the error will go away.

If you can't get into your admin cp, disable your modifications/plugins though config.php
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

PHP Code:

define('DISABLE_HOOKS'true);

I do not know. You will have to figure that one out yourself by either looking at the plugin code or by disabling them one-by-one to see which is giving the error.

jene 01-26-2010 03:47 PM

i disable all plugins and its steel dosent work :(

Lynne 01-26-2010 04:30 PM

When you disabled them in the config.php file (per post 2), the site worked, right? So, it has to be a product or plugin causing the problem. Did you disable your *plugins* (in the Plugin Manager) as well as your *products* (in the Manage Products page)? You need to do *both* in order to figure out which one is causing the problem.

i didnt disabled in the config.php - whrere i found this file in my ftp ?

i only turn off all *plugins* *products* and (in the Plugin Manager) and its dosent help ...

tnx

Lynne 01-26-2010 06:07 PM

Did you do what I suggested in post 2 - what was the result? The config.php file is in your includes directory.

jene 01-26-2010 09:46 PM

yes Lynne i do what you suggested in post 2
and its dosent work :/
the same problem ..

but yestrday i upgrae from 3.8 vb to 4.0.1vb and after that i install again 3.8vb
maybe this is the problem ?

tnx

You can not run 3.8 files with a 4.0 database. Your database is upgraded to 4.0. You either need to upload the 4.0 files or you need to install a database backup from 3.8.

Sorry to bump but I'm getting the same error too. TIA.

Did you upgrade your forum as well like OP? Did you follow the suggestions posted by Lynne above?

I turned off the plugins/products and it still appeared.

I am just reinstalling VB 3.8.5 since there was a messup in upgrading another one of my forums and I confused the passwords. Anyways I'm just trying to reinstall VB 3.5 and it goes to 404 error after Step 3.

TIA.

On Edit:

MySQL 5.0.89-community

PHP version5.3.1

That sounds like a totally different problem. You should post your own thread and include as much information as possible.

Lynne, could you please move this thread to the vB3 Forum please? TIA.

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=239156

I posted it in the wrong forum some time ago. TIA.

Marco van Herwaarden 03-27-2010 11:40 AM

This thread is about vB4, not vB3. If your problem is about vB3, then you should create your own thread in the correct forum.
