Latest 30 pm's sent by anyone. It just grabs the records from the database.

That's immoral. Perhaps your members whould be informed that their Private Messages aren't private at all...

Post 911, pms and everything else are being read by more than just site admins. Its a security feature that is needed.

Just admins can see MEMBERS latest 30 Private Messages in ADMINCP

a member when send a pm to forum person, then admin can read that PM.

if you want see 40, 50, 60 or 1000 then open plugin find and edit this code ;

Only admins can read the messages of members. and this add-on is dependable. there's not any dangerous. you can use it peace of mind ;)

i have two more admin besides me.. and i want this mod work only for me.. not for the other admins...

This is the matter of taste. ;)
If the admin wants to use this add-on, he or she is free. I used this add-on but I don't have a bad intent. Everyone is FREE. Yours respectfully. :up:

I have never tried, but you have to take the ADMINCP authorization from the other admins. If you make them sup-mod, they can't view. Really, I'm so sorry for that.

there is no way, you can tweak some setting.... and instead of usergroup you put user setting...?

May be. May be we can succeed this by making the following settings. But if it doesn't come true, please don't persist. as for me, if there are 3-4 admins, don't use it or use it but inform them.

Well, follow this;

admincp >>> usergroups settings >>> Adminstrator settings >>> And change permissions.

OR

Open your config.php folder and edit for yourself ;

"X" <--- user group and user id.

where can i read the messages in the ACP ? where can i find the addon in acp ?! i dont see anything ....

I guess, generally he don't entry so much here or another vB-Service web pages. Uh, I don't care. And NO. I didn't take a permission for ADD-ON. And I'll never take because this is for vB4.X.X and making by ME. I don't understand ORIGINAL OR FAKE OR POSER ADD-ONS. Its Okay? Should be cool ;)

For all those looking for the pms just close your browser and re log in. then scroll down the page once you are in the admincp.

They are right there on the main page like reading NEWS from VB.

While not bad, I prefer the previous mod myself where things were not sitting on the index page but in their own area. Maybe we will get lucky and have that mod update someday.

For now, I uninstalled this as I also have sub admins which do not do all admin functions and they are not going to be reading others PM's.

i have seen this posting of you and i now since your posting that this is on the acp index ..... the question was if there are any configuration options or you can list the pms for a seperate user - that was the thing what i was thinking about - maybe for a later relase - but i like this hack by the way - great ;)

I installed it and don't have anything like that in my index. I am a superadmin, is there anything else I need to change?
